I love the idea of it being non-wired! It looks like a great little security cam. Another brilliant review by you Al! Take care. Have a good week! TFS 👍💖
Does the recording reside anywhere Other than the SD card? If not, then someone could steal the camera (along with everything else) and you would have nor record of it.
I've got two of these on my house. Sadly the scumbag drug dealer shot them out. They're really good cameras. The only problem I ever had with one of them it kept rebooting itself but they swapped it but if you register you get a 2-year warranty. Excellent camera's sometimes the motion sensor is a bit slow to turn the camera on I don't know if I can alter that it starts recording as the postman is walking away.
@@dereton33 I'm just really honest if you want me to take the comment down I'm happy to. I've been extremely grateful of your plumbing videos throughout the year thanks for posting such helpful videos Ian
Good luck if you need tech support from Reolink, I have a faulty camera (new - less than a week old) and they will do anything to avoid you returning for replacment or refund... they want to charge me 15% re stock fee as they say it`s fine. it`s dead, my other reolink cameras work fine BTW
Another Chinese cheap camera. The software looks similar to Cleverdog cameras which turned out to be piss poor. Would be interesting to see how long before they start forcing your to login with an account, like Cleverdog do. With systems like these and not everyone sill be able go to, its always best to put them on their own VLAN on your network. So if there are any backdoors on the system, the only thing they can jump around on is the camera's and not the rest of the network.
Hi Al. Been with you since you had about 21k subscribers and notice you're inching closer to the 100k!!! Any plans to celebrate???
That's the plan! Hoping for 1000 videos and 100k subs at the same time

Thanks, you too Hazel!
Does it have a seagull alert function?? 😃😃😃🕊️🕊️🕊️🐱🐱🐱
Wish it did. Ha ha.
I cannot get the camera to record. I only have a live feed and can’t get it to save. Any advice? I have an SD card.
Check the settings in the app.

It can record to cloud and your phone.

OK, That's cool.
Very nice but what's the difference between Argus 2 vs Argus 2E ?
sorry no idea.
How long does the battery usually last?
About a month
Thanks for the info Al. I've been looking for an outdoor security camera that fits the bill and this looks good.
No problem 👍
They are identical to the Uniden App Cam Solo, which is a great camera.
Yes very similar.
Looks good 👍
Thanks 👍 Pb.

I have the same experience as Chris Anderson below. Defective camera very poor technical support. There are better choices.
Mine is still performing well.

I have reviewed many of Reolink`s cameras and found them all to be of excellent quality, all of them are still working faultlessly.
