- Clean, simple and fantastic - the body of Roy´s Golf MK2 is kept simple in black with silver 8x17 BBS RS and coilovers. Inside the original Golf Recaro seats are completely redone with red leather. Under the hood is an 2,9l VR6 engine full rebuild and running on KMS with a Garret GT30 Turbocharger and a RvS custom piping and downpipe. The result of the engineering is an output of 412 hp with 500nm. Everything looks amazing in the cleaned engine bay and matches fantastic.

The first car I ever been in was in my dad's VW Golf GTI MK2 the day I was born. The car lasted from 1989 to 2002 with 620.000km. At that time nobody knew how special this car would be in the future. There was white smoke coming out from the exhaust and the reparation was worth more than the car. I miss that car so bad even though I was born in 1997.
A year+ later... this is a dream car for me. Stunning.

Had one that looked just like yours only in Mars Red.
It was a 1985 GTI 8V
But I modified it to look like yours by putting 1990 doors the 16V big bumper oem kit with the foglights in the bumper just like you! Enjoy!

This car is a thing of beauty😀I'm almost speechless. 1 question...how is there any room in the engine bay? It looks only about 2/3rds full. My mk4 vr6 takes up so much room I have to take the bumper off to remove the headlights to change bulbs lol. I understand that peripherals like
A/C compressors and the such take up room but man that seems like alot of space. Anyhow, BEAUTIFUL JOB ON THE CAR ✌👍🤘👊🍻
Shaved bay. Alot of stuff in the bay may be deleted and/or tucked(like motor harness/headlight harness) to give the hidden look. Some people delete the ac system, power steering, coolant reservoir etc. All depends how crazy you want to go

Wie macht ihr das bei dem Golf mit dem Tanken ? Da es a scheinbar nur 95 Oktan bei euch an den Tankstellen gibt, aber so ein Motor doch mindestens 98 besser aber 102 Oktan fahren sollte ??

Did you do anything special to get the 17" BBS rooms to fit? I have a stock mk2 I want to restore. Also, was the engine and new transmission a straight swap out did it take a lot of customization to fit them in?
stick on 16, my advise as an owner. Mine is not heavy tuned. but 17 was so shit to drive. 16 is perfect. sporty but will not hurt your back.
