- The introduction of Psychopaths No. 5 & 6 (Maggie & Zachariah) from the 2012 independent film "Seven Psychopaths" featuring Sam Rockwell, Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken.
How did people not like this movie. I loved it the first time I saw it.
Underrated film, and I never noticed this is actually Tom Waits
This films amazing
Just watched this brilliant and hilarious and poignant, thoughtful film yesterday. It was so great that I figure I'll have to have another watch of it tonight - man! All the key cast members were so captivating...I just loved it!
One of my all-time favorite movies.
it's just not for everyone. The violence alone is gonna be an issue for some people. For other people who love violence uncritically ("psychopaths") the anti-violence message could be a turn off. Matter of taste.
man if I ever run into a Maggie I'd allways cherish her, she was a down ridah
This is so fucking powerful
Honestly one of my favorite movies
Anything that deals with madness/mental illness honestly
No pretty lies
Just the ugly truth
But laughing at it is the only way to not let it crush you
Tom waits tho... lol
I actually really liked this movie. Not sure why it gets a lot of bad reviews. I have seen a tonne of shittier movies that get much better ratings on IMDB.
@I drink your milkshake rotton tomatoes is even shittier tho
@@banewade9579 rotten tomatoes' tomatometer is just a percentage based on whether reviews were positive or not. an 80 percent score means that 80 percent of reviews were positive which means those 80 percent could have been "not bad" reviews and the score won't fully reflect that until you read the reviews which are mostly independent of the website anyway. I genuinely don't understand the beef with rotten tomatoes
I never realized that the film in fact did receive a good bit of bad reviews. I thought it was captivating and absolutely hilarious!
When you use my story in your movie, I'd like you to put a little message up there at the end. I want you to tell her that I miss her. And I love her. And I should have helped her kill that hippie.-Seven Psychopaths
One of the best movie of Sam rockwell. This is the most underrated movie.
My favorite
Welcome to Collinwood... And if you haven't seen Moon...
Absolutely agreed!
something about this was very beautiful.
The music?
I like this vibe where everything is so absurd and weird but the characters acting like nothing is happening lol
" I'll tell you Zach, if you sounded like a nut i probably deleted you."
"i dont .....think i sounded like a nut"
"did you say you'd eat my heart off a tray and then shit on it?"
"uh no, i dont think so"
i love this movie
You misquoted the man. He said no I wouldn't do that.
At first I thought they were simply parodying "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" but then I remembered that that case was based on actual unsolved murders
is that Tom fucking waits?
Of course. After all, he's the OG.
Fuck now I need to see this movie.
That is his Christian name, yes.
RighBread hipster scumbag
Holy fucking shit
That wasn't Ted Cruz!
This scene is incredibly intelligent, especially with the “alternate reality” twist on killing famous serial killers. To imagine Zodiac as that person after the things he did would make sense to me for some reason. Also the lack of remorse from them when they kill him is what makes the scene so jarring. I love it
That makes it even more intelligent when you think about it. If you had killed the Zodiac killer in the heyday of his horrible murders, would you have remorse?
@@blakcinephile Absolutely not, it’s sorta like if you knew who it was what would you do especially if you’re the serial killer killing other serial killers is it all being justified or are you becoming what you despise
but doesnt it seem like Zacharia has some sort of reaction? He cant help, he looks away. Just some sort of mixed feelings. Isnt that why she left him? Later he regrets having feelings like that and wish he had committed to the killings with her, like she did. He also doesnt seem to really want to kill Marty. He has SOME sense of mercy.
Plus the hilarious implication of they would’ve eventually caught him but the reason they didn’t is because he was… intercepted
"We just didn't know what to do."
"And what did you do?"
I love these weird classic comedy type exchanges they have throughout the script (and improv)!
2012 brought us Dredd 3D and Seven Psychopaths -- two of the best films of that year....yet both theaters were empty when I went to see them.
Damn shame.
Two utterly brilliant movies that I think were just screwed over by being poorly advertised and released in a year with a metric fuckton of incredibly successful films, Dredd was barely advertised and Seven Psychopaths' advertising misled audiences to thinking it was gonna be some kind of madcap crime comedy instead of a pitch black, pulls-no-punches kind of comedy. Dredd also got screwed over on the UK release, they refused to give theaters non-3D copies of the movie for... Some reason...
Ledger totally channeled Waits in the Dark Knight
Was that revolver Zachariah used to kill The Texarkana Moonlight Murderer a .357? It had eight shots so I'm curious.
He was using a Smith & Wesson Model 10 in that scene according to www.imfdb.org/wiki/Seven_Psychopaths
model 10 is a 6 shooter.
FOR FUCKING 5 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SCENE. ABOUT THE 2 PEOPLW WHO WENT AROUND KILLING KILLERS LIKE THE ZODIAC. FUCMING MONTHS. I KNEW I DIDN'T MAKE IT
I never realized Tom Waits was in this movie.
I know about the Texarkana and Zodiac murders but what’s the Butcher one about ?
The Cleveland Torso Murderer (also known as the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run)
This is the part in theaters where I lost it and couldn't stop laughing, it's also the part where everyone left the theater.
Love Tom Waits!!!!
This is in my top 3 favorite movie sequences of all time ❤️❤️❤️
"1975 was... She burnt that hippie."
I absolutely hate Tom Wait's music/singing but I utterly adore the characters he has played in some seriously fantastic films!! Here, I love how he speaks to these two guys! And then when asked if he left a message saying he was going to do something dreadful, he says, "No, no I wouldn't do that" and finishes with one raised eyebrow that suggests, yeah - maybe he WOULD do that!! Brilliant and hilarious!! Amazing scene!
If only bad people in real life were punished like this 😞
I fucking laughed when I saw this feeble hippy in sandals and then the bloody "Zodiac" inscription.
Yes, this is *Tom Waits*
Love this movie..seen it a million times will watch it a million more, so funny
how the hell did they know who was the zodiac killer beyond argh it's a movie
Psychos know psycho
He just let her jack his whip
EPIC ROMANCE SCENE !!!
That revolver had like 8 rounds !
It was a .357 I believe
@@tonybamonoboni2323
some have even more rounds
.22 magnum has 9
Serial killer killing - what a thrilling date idea. But do you reckon it’s first date thing or should one just go mini golfing instead?
Funny little easter egg. Zachariah is waiting for them when they run into him. Zachariah is played by Tom WAITS.
Is that Tom waits?
Quien interpreta el área de la ópera en esta parte?
Why is Sam Rockwell playing a guy called billy , he did same for green mile
thats where i now him from
"they cooin him now"
An alternate reality where slashers meet their demise by hunters!
Soooo they were serial killer killing civilians or killing bad people.
bad
They killed serial killers
samlio325 that's why the titles of famous killers showed up
Stick figure animation required
Brilliant film
great Tom Waits
Get in the house!!
LOL at his eyebrows
“1975, she burnt that hippie, I’ve been looking for her ever since…” 😢
The distant mists of time.....
How have I never heard of this movie?
Watch it
They dont have Heath Ledger, they called Tom Waits....
I just realized that’s Tom Waits what in the fuck
Could someone please tell me what the music is in this clip? Thank You!
Funny, as soon as I Herd about the real zodiac killers identity and his passing I thought of this.
You mean Arthur Leigh Allen? Zodiac has never been officially identified. Allen was definitely the prime suspect as far as Detective Dave Toschi and true crime writer Robert Graysmith were concerned, and this point of view was popularized by the 2007 David Fincher film “Zodiac”. But again, the evidence has never been conclusive, and there’s at least a dozen more good suspects.
Zodiac’s identity has never been conclusively determined by anyone, and it likely never will be. The Zodiac case gets a lot of attention because of its place in pop culture, but as far as serial killers go he doesn’t even crack the top 20- only 7 confirmed victims, five of which died. Meanwhile EAR/ONS killed 13, raped 50, and burglarized 120. Bundy killed 20, confessed to 30, and is suspected of 36+. Dean Corll was active at the same time as Zodiac and killed 28+ teenage boys.
In the big picture of late 20th century serial killers, Zodiac really is small fry. He’s not worth the attention he gets, but then again no murderer is.
Maybe its a sign but I was the 667 like on this video, maybe I'm simple?
I kinda want to be a serial killer killer. Looks fun
...
this post right here officer
Alec Danner Thank you Civilian we'll take it from here
Wow look at the edgy guy we have over here
🚓🚔weewooweewoo
My Maggie left me a few weeks ago... I feel him
Why did that revolver have 8 shots
“NnnNo...no...iii wouldn’t do that..”
I enjoyed this movie
???? WHAT is the point of this movie...
It's like a Tarentino movie.
What's the point of any movie, it's a getaway from real life, It's just entertainment.
Glorious entertainment
Fuck...
One of the best scenes in movie history in my opinion
Why did they tie up so many people with the mad butcher.
looked like a sanitorium or how ever you spell it
To keep them in the bed and not dangerous to themselves or others
that is so much in A wild "almost" devine sequence: "Seven Sins", "Lucky Slevin", "Seven Psycopath" ... Arizona, Morgan Freeman 25¢ phone call from (to) Istanbul ... 🐙
The Texarkana Moon Light Murders actually happened in 1946. Not 1947.
It isn't saying those murders occurred in 1947, that's just when the serial killer killers killed him.
True.
Michael Manley nobody cares about the technicalities...chill
JindoUK Which is why he stopped in 47, because he was dead you fuck.
Eight shot revolver at 3:08
Tanner W. Model 10 smith and weston
some have more
@Fred T Not sure where tf you came from, but the Model 10 does not have more than 6 shots. "Some" revolvers do have 8 shots. This is not one of them.
I'm realizing I @'d the wrong person. Skipped my coffee this morning.
Haunting song, what's the name?
Darude Sandstorm
Berlioz: Strophes 'premiers Transports Que Nui N'oblie' (Roméo Et Juliette, Op 17-Version With Original Parts. Part 1) by The Monteverdi Choir And Orchestre Révolutionnaire Et Romantique With Catherine Robbin
3:08 8 shots from a 6 shot revolver
...fired a revolver 8 times...
There’s plenty of 8 shot revolvers lol.
If you don’t know about firearms why comment on them...
some even have more than 8 rounds
Psychopaths Can't cry...hollywood you had one job.
A little late… I don’t think the movie is trying to accurately portray what a psychopath is, but rather offer a satirical view on the glorification of violence and mental illness in Hollywood.
LISTEN people, STOP watching these movies.
Zodiac was never caught!!! Don't get me wrong. He was a piece of shit! But that Scene was disrespectful to a human being that maybe is still alive...! Even if he is a murderer...!
Thor Boysen I hope you are joking
we found him
Zodiac was probably so offended he almost turned himself in
This is the best part of a very bad movie
Why didn't you like it?
The psychopath cutaways and a few other scenes were absolutely amazing. The rest of the movie was just bad. I think the good makes up for the bad in this one though
The opposite of Christopher Reeves.
Dormin
It just looked like an empty story... But the acting is perfect!
4:32 every time I watch this nod I lmao!
