I preferred Verdansk over Caldera mostly because of the variety through out the map that it offered. Wasn’t just one simple theme but you had *farmland, downtown, stadium, Prison, Boneyard*. All of those POIs had a different feel, all on one map
Verdansk way better this map is 1/10 Caldera has way to much trees

We didn’t know what we had with Verdansk. The update when stadium opened up was sooo dope in retrospect. And night mode? Holy shit that Halloween event was absolutely incredible

Not to nitpick, but Verdansk already had all the elements that you are talking about in the video Tim. Airport was just an expanded/modified version of terminal. Highrise. How many downtown buildings were there? Scrapyard, ...boneyard. etc. There was elements of rust and even had a train station. Favela would be the only area that I could see being "newly" incorporated.
They could give us something like Afghanistan and I’d be happy with it as long as they keep it just how warzone was before the hackers and Cold War 😃
And not the og mw2 Afghanistan I’m talking real world places put into maps would give the game better feel

Verdansk 84 I hated the dull colours of the buildings and that damn tower and open stadium ruined the game unfortunately.. But storage town for plunder was like a multiplayer mosh pit 🤣 lit if you wanted to get kills!!

@@bbvukovic1107 lol I've gone back to MW 2019, never did like rebirth, once I died and lost my guns and loadout would get camped I loose my shit, felt very toxic! And it always felt like everyone knew exactly where I was. Only found out the other day it's because you get pinged when your team mate dies 🤣🤦🏻♂️..
Honestly, I cut down playing WZ a lot ever since Caldera was released. There’s something about the map I just don’t like compared to Verdansk. Nowadays I just play Rebirth

The only problems with Verdansk were the hackers, the broken sbmm and the cross play (in Australia if you turned off cross play you would never get into a game)...

I agree looking forward to MW2. I actually only started playing again this last couple months because of you and the guys making this game look actually pretty fun. But I gotta say it’s pretty sad I try to play solos and get shot within minutes and don’t even get chance to get my loady. But I go play any duos or quads resurgence game setup they have and I get into top 10. Makes no sense so I’m ready for different game honestly lol. Hopefully they do go with some of the ideas you’ve mentioned. Love the content man! Got me gaming again lol!!
The game you want to be Warzone 2 would be the most played game that year. All the old maps in Warzone, with balloons, and new pieces here and there, would be the greatest thing ever implemented
I'd love to see warzone and warzone 2 both continually get updates but warzone 2 is more like blackout or pubg with attachments that way you could still keep the original warzone style. I just miss the days before blueprints and switching between 2x and red dots depending on the engagement
Yeah I definitely feel like it would be cool if you could swap out attachments. You don't have to get too in the weeds. Just basic stuff like grips and optics.

The trees are not a problem. The visibility you are complaining about isnt justified. The point of the bushes and trees is to hide and camaflage players. Caldera has way too much up hills though. If they are gonna put so much hills in it, they should have allowed players the ability to climb more easily.
Nah the bushes are a huge problem. On console you can’t even see where you’re getting shot at half the time

However I think what would make it dope, is them taking all of the MW2 maps and just making them BIGGER BR maps, and making it like apex to where they just rotate. That would be awesome imo. All they have to do is just expand the maps for BR lobbies.

I love you Tim. This is not a criticism of you, just an observation of the gaming community in general. Everyone was over verdansk. Everyone was comparing constantly, screaming for a new map. Bitching at activision and raven soft every day. They give us a new map and now everyone wants to go back to verdansk. Just proof that no matter what they do everyone will always find something to complain about. It will never be good enough.

I’m going to be honest, I hate everything to do with Vanguard, I think it just completely ruined Warzone for me. I hate Caldera, I can’t use the ground loot and loadout campers still stop me from getting guns that are useable. Not to mention skill based match making is still kicking my ass after weeks of being offline on top of that.

Tim what if MW2 had a playlist of S&D, TDM, Dom etc in a warzone like map, like you get dropped in a heli and you have to drive to the objective and like plant a bomb and while you’re doing that your location is revealed to the other 4-5 teams to defuse the bombs, you get increased health or more damage while defending the bomb (to make it fair since you could have 3 teams going for you at once) wouldn’t that be cool?

To be honest, them "changing" verdansk 3 times by only changing like one thing each time, made us not appreciate what we had in verdansk. I feel like they listened to the community about the colors and went to the extreme with caldera.

We need a verdansk mixed with blackout! Bring back healing instead of plating, wingsuits instead of parachutes, and bringing multilayer maps into the map like blackout.
People's memory of Verdansk are flawed. Verdansk was beaten like a drum and dry as hell. The people who say bring back verdansk are the ones who cried for a new map. They got it and now they want verdansk back. If raven removed 30 to 40% of the vegetation and added a few extra buildings in it's place, it would be legit! Enjoy it despite it's few flaws, till warzone two comes out.

I haven’t played caldera since it pretty much came out. It’s crazy how a map could be so colorful and yet so trash, don’t even get me started on a constant hill climb and hills we can’t climb for some parts.
I used to watch a lot more warzone stuff but when Caldera was out it just died to me, I really miss Verdansk.
