but i did see it, i barely remember it and I watched it again this year. the originals are a good start but their horror only scares people that either haven't seen anything modern or it was one of their first horror movies. the gore isn't that great and it somehow drags but ends too quickly. i appreciate them for creating the concept but the 2 early 2000s remakes just overall look better and are more interesting to watch. they were made at the peak of sfx before cgi became the mainstream and practically the only method of portraying movies. while the original texas chainsaw was at the start of sfx. it just doesn't look as good.
