Your video was a fantastic primer for my upcoming Madrid travl . The local recommendations❤🔥 Let me follow along with the video as I explore my journey to Madrid!
Nice video, I have to say I did about half of the things (well I don't like flamenco and not crazy about paintings), but I only have been living here for year and half, so still time 😅
Good morning from Papua New Guinea. I enjoyed watching your contents. Great contents. I hope to visit that country. I liked and subscribed to your channel for more contents.

Coming from a tourist, I've been told by many madrileños that Mercado de San Miguel is just an overpriced tourist trap. They said barely any locals eat there, mostly just tourists. Same goes for all the restaurants at Plaza Mayor.
Not a trap at all. High quality food in a stunning scenario just next to Plaza Mayor. Of course, it's more expensive than a little bar in a neigbourhood an hour away from the city centre.
Palma de Mallorca is the most visited city per square mile in Europe & the second most visited city in the world per square mile & in 2023(most tourists ever in the history of Mallorca it is expected to be the most visited city in the world per square mile.....
Flamenco is not popular in Madrid. Never was. On the other hand, the best artists usually work in Madrid because what they look for is being "discovered" by a recording company or an impresario. Big stars like Rocío Jurado, Isabel Pantoja, Joaquín Cortes, Farruquito... were "born" in the Madrid's tablaos
Boy, Flamenco is popular in all of Spain. The fact that was created in the south of the country and obviously there it’s more popular, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t the rest of the country.
Thank you for your comment, but what you described applies to most European capitals to a certain extent. In any case, we believe that Madrid cannot be categorized as dirty and unsafe. Madrid is such a vibrant and beautiful European Metropolis that will compensate anyone for visiting.
I have lived here for 28 years and I can not understand where your comment comes from, you must not have set foot in Madrid in your life and if you have you have to be the most pessimistic and hater person in history to get that conclusion

Whats happened in Dezember to January?
It is beautifully decorated for Christmas, crowded especially during the holidays and it is a bit cold.
No mention of Santiago bernabeu what a shame.

Tourist trap or not, you should pass by Mercado de San Miguel for the experience!

Soy madrileño. El mercado de San Miguel me encanta, es un poco más caro, eso sí.

@@victorycollins37, it is not. That'a a fact. Everybody has their own folklore. In fact, Flamenco sounds weird to most Spaniards.

Rule number one to a video of Spain from a yank: add some cuban music and stuff. LOL
Mexican and flamenco música can do as well.
The reality of Madrid is that it’s awfully dirty and in many areas unsafe. Don’t get your expectations too high.
