Ways To Grow As A Christian Woman

- These are such valuable points for growth in any Christian's life, especially for women seeking to deepen their walk with the Lord. Here are some passages from scripture to help us:
1. Make Prayer a Habit
Colossians 4:2 (NLT): "Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart."
Luke 18:1 (ESV): "And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart."
2. Read the Bible for Yourself
Psalm 119:11 (NLT): "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV): "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
3. Study with Sound Teachers
Acts 17:11 (NLT): "And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth."
2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV): "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."
4. Audit What You're Intaking/Being Influenced By
Philippians 4:8 (NLT): "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
1 Corinthians 15:33 (ESV): "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company ruins good morals.'"
5. Discern Current Relationships
Proverbs 13:20 (NLT): "Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble."
1 Corinthians 5:11 (ESV): "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler-not even to eat with such a one."
These Scriptures offer guidance and wisdom for personal growth in faith. As Christian women, making prayer a habit, delving into the Bible, learning from sound teachers, being mindful of the influences in our lives, and discerning our relationships are all ways to foster a stronger, deeper relationship with God.

Conviction and discernment are huge! 🙏🙌 I’m divorced and both my parents have passed on. I have 3 grown daughters who have extremely busy lives. I’m so thankful Jesus never leaves us ❤️ Do I struggle? Daily! But I know who is in my corner and He is the best Father ❤

15:11 This is so funny because it's true...we just talked about this in the live prayer session today...It's nice to be reminded for the second time today that I need to just let it go and give it to God because I'm always in my own way lol I think He is definitely trying to remind me of this :)

I would really like to share something here that I hope will build someone up in faith. I had a dream last night that I was being raptured and this dream was so lifelike that I was sure it had happened. The feeling I had when I was upstairs is indescribable, so much happiness, joy, love, yes, everything at the same time. It was really a shame to wake up again, but this dream showed me a little bit of what awaits us and I can't wait until it actually happens🙏🙏
