Atlanta-based journalist George Chidi, who writes for The Atlanta Objective, sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he opened up about the YSL RICO case involving Young Thug and Gunna. Chidi started off pointing out that these are just allegations against the YSL affiliates by the District Attorney, and he went on to detail incidents named in the indictment. Chidi explained that Young Thug is accused of killing Donovan “Big Nut” Thomas Jr., an alleged OG Blood member, which led to a war between YSL and YFN. I'm from ATL like the actual city and was raised in Zone 5 and 4th Ward area and went to Grady High. I used to work for DFCS and had cases over in the area where Thug is from and got to know that community very well. Put the fact he wore a dress and get's his nails painted and calls his friend's lovers, bae, and hubbies aside.
Young Thug was "already" a well-known figure in ATL before rap. He was a child, rebel soldier that was really very entrenched in the streets. He was basically "groomed" to be a shooter as a kid. I know once you make it into the rap game you need to go straight but that was his way of life and he should've probably moved to LA to get away cus' ATL is only so big.
I'm not going to get into all, it's already come out but his real rap name should've been Young Shooter or Young Gangster if you only knew how big his rep was and how much drama he was in.
It eventually caught up to him but just no the shit he was rapping about wasn't cap, he was actually a street vet when he was a juvenile. He was one of the youngest gunners in this town on some cowboy shit for real.
And that doesn't get him a trophy still lol
The more reason to lock him up.
