Eric is phenomenal. Saw him live in a tiny dive bar in Lubbock TX circa 2004. Buddy asked me yesterday… “what was that blues dude’s name we saw at Jake’s back in college?” Brings back memories. Glad to see he’s still rocking hard. Amazing artist.

I first heard of Eric when I saw him open up for Johnny Winter completely blew me away taking slide guitar to a whole new level never seen before I wish you would come back to Northern California again
it's obvious he has listened to lots of Johnny Winter. JW was one of the best slide players ever. just a roaring locomotive! but Eric has one more fan tonite. a friend told me to search this guy. when all this craziness is hopefully over, I hope to see him live.
He probably knows every blues shuffle rhythm there is, and plays them with the same excitement that got us all picking up a guitar in the first place. One of the top players around for sure !
nobody complained when hendrix did crazy shit with his guitar all of a sudden this guy shows up with some crazy shit on a resonator but then he shows you all he can play that machine anyway he wants i personally like what he does so all 8 of you that dont like it go away and im old not some young critic just a lover of talent

Por momentos engancha un gran ritmo mostrando una calidad técnica muy buena, pero parecería como si se aburriese y lo rompe en lo que se parecen a solos de guitarras. Pero solos de guitarra con una banda que intenta seguirte, cosa poco posible. Y por pequeños momentos bajan a ritmo de un blues fuera de ritmo (porque las zapadas entre acordes exceden los espacios de tiempo para que siga a ritmo de blues), donde mete algo de letra, con buena vos, para volver en breve a perderse en un solo inconexo con la banda, con lo anterior, con todo. Sorprenden los sonidos que le saca a su guitarra, realmente domina ese instrumento, pero es solo eso, un guitarrista mostrando sus talentos. Falta crear un buen tema, sabiendo que no siempre necesita mostrarse todo en cada tema.
