Rachel thankyou so much for your honesty with how exhausting runnings errands is 🥰 I also have low iron and find the daily tasks such an effort, which sometimes my family cannot understand, so it's good to hear I'm not alone 💕
Sometimes it's really a lot. I've been trying to space out my tasks and break the harder ones with smaller easier ones but I feel you 💛🧡❤️ I'm sorry they don't understand. It's not easy when people dont understand its not just being tired 💛

I found the infusion so worth it! Like you my iron wasn’t super low, but it made such a difference in my energy levels.
Would recommend hydrating a lot beforehand!
That’s so good to hear. I called one clinic yesterday but they still have a 2-3 weeks wait. I might try some more but im glad to know it helped. I wasn’t sure if I should wait or fast track. With wait times though I might not be able to

I have pernicous anemia and I find what helps is B12 either in a tablet form or in a patch. Eventually the iron will kick in and you won't feel as tired. Good luck 🤞

Really enjoyed this video ☺️🥰. I just wrote a whole dissertation on iron lol and decided to erase it 🤣🤣 but basically I hope you go get it done privately so you start feeling better rather than having to wait a few more weeks. Hate seeing you suffering with it longer than you need to xx

I’m dealing with anemia too and I eat all the iron foods. Here is what I learned. If you take any tea or matcha you can’t absorb any iron within 2 hours. Same with calcium or dairy. So I make sure I don’t eat or ingest that 2 hours prior and 2 hours after. I actually learned coffee tea matcha and calcium hinder you from absorbing 50% of what you eat with it…, I also learned that liquid iron is the best, and to take it with vitamin C. Mary ruths makes one that had wonderful reviews and I’ve been taking it for a week and I started noticing a difference after 3 days of taking it.
Kmart has the car sun shades. Glad you enjoyed your time in Brisbane, I like that there is so much to do here now.

I was going to tell you that you probably need some Heme-iron, the one found in red meat. Maybe focus on that too, it might help. The iron in leafy green is not as bioavailable as in meat.
Also I know there are some liver tablets you can get too. Hope that resolves as soon as possible! ❤️

I hope you're feeling better and have had the infusion already! If not please do consider that an iron infusion does come with some risks and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist I generally think GPs are ill equipped for the infusion and it should be done in an infusion centre setting with access to immediate assistance if something goes wrong.

I get tired as well. I found out I have severe adrenal fatigue. What other supplements do you take? Do you take vitamin b.
Great video Rachel! So happy to see you wearing summer clothes (it is cooold in Europe now😅). Just a quick idea: maybe using the word syndrome in the title is not the best as that word is for certain health conditions. Being a lucky girl is more like an ‘attitue’, ‘habit’ , ‘feeling’ or something positive like that 😊a frame of mind

I have been using spatone to supplement my iron with good result. I have been anemic for years. I took supplements, infusion, had nutritionist design my diet to be rich in iron.
I’m in my early sixties and live in the US
So, bronzer... you need to check out Laguna by Nars, the Filmstar bronzer by Charlotte Tilbury and the Estee lauder one is also very good. I'm fair like you.😉

I've had issues with iron too.
While you are waiting for your infusion, try taking your iron supplement as your last thing before bed. There are so many foods that can interfere with your absorption of iron. But if you can cope with taking on an empty stomach, I found it was worth the results.

Hi Rachelle. It’s so nice to see another video from you. Do hope that you are able to feel energy cause I know, as a Dialysis patient, it can be quite tiring and my hemoglobin goes down quite a lot (even though you and I are different).❤️🙏 Also, I’m just wondering about you going to stay from place to place and not having any kind of structure in your life and your on place and they could be why you are so tired and also a lot of stress on you too can make you get very worn out and sick too and if I’m correct, you have been not feeling roll along with the being tired too. Are you thinking of staying in Australia or are you still planning on moving back to Toronto? Structure is very important in one’s life and also being truly happy within yourself ans. No one can make you genuine happy cause I have finally learned that a number of years and I have been able to be happy and have found my voice too and able to soak up when needed. It’s a very sad time.
Can I very gently suggest not drinking orange juice? It is really full of sugar and nothing else. It would be better to eat an orange because then you are getting the fibre and vc. Drinking any fruit juice means you 'eat' far more fruit than you would if it was a whole food. As a bit of extra info, the liver is the only organ that processes fructose. Best not to over work it. Of course, no need to change anything just because I said!😊😊😊
