Great video dude! Can't agree enough with you on each of the points you made in this video. The mbti opening the door for further humility, understanding and respect for our own and other types is absolutely spot on. I agree also with your final point regarding the lack of warmness from social interaction. From my personal experience its an invaluable tool for working with and coaching others, and so reaps the novelty rewards from the successes of the people i work with. I.e. the reward comes from applying the science to work with someone in attaining a specific goal. However in day to day interactions that are not goal driven/ within a coaching dynamic i do find, like yourself, that i analyse past the surface level of dialogue and attribute functions to other's choice of wording. As such losing the uniqueness/novelty of each new interaction. I really like your perspective and your videos Riley!
INTP Ramblings I can't thank you enough for validating my points especially on humility. I find most people don't talk about this aspect enough in the MBTI community. Also its quite interesting that you have indeed experienced the same phenomenon having to do with MBTI taking the novelty out of social interaction. On some level the system can make all your conversations more interesting and more engaging but at the same time sometimes I would just like to have a down to earth conversation without my analytical side working in the back-round. Thanks again! I really do appreciate it especially coming from a youtuber with much more polished and quality videos I could definitely use some work on that lol
