It is great time to start AI-powered company! Regarding incorporation, it is not always good strategy to wait for investors. Not all investors are so patient to wait 2-6 months while you are sorting out incorporation issues. Moreover, you need a company to frame relationships with co-founders and clients. Standard market practice is to create a group of companies in different jurisdictions if you operate across different countries.

Good day Marina. How are you doing? Thank you for being an inspiration to me personally and all. I am also wanting to pursue the American dream but I have a little concern. So Marina, Tell me something. Since all the big tech companies like google, Facebook, Instagram (maybe), and all the others are leaving silicon valley do you think that this takes away from the flavor of the silicon valley? I notice that you are still excited about the silicon valley even though these companies are moving away and I want to still be excited too. Even though I'm not there I just feel like when these companies and corporations move, that the whole silicon valley atmosphere will move with them too. I must be wrong. lol
When I considered different countries for my company, what stopped me was having to go overseas to open a bank account in the US. Opening a US company is a piece of cake; accounting is monstrous. And visas and all that headache. So I ended up opening Estonian company instead. But yeah, if you plan to get investments from US investors, then you have like no choice. :)

Yes, absolutely, you can have clients in any state.
I would start some business related to food.

Depends, you can consider starting an LLC if you're planning to get paid from US clients, or else you'll be able to do that with your home country business/bank as well.

You having a business do not make you eligible for green card or anything, however if your business is big like hers, you can see the options that the visa to get and maybe be qualified for the green card in the future.

Stripe in general is good, but Atlas.. It really depends of what you doing.. I've done all by myself back at the start.. all in NY.. If you not exactly an IT startup, you can be in NY, Illinois.. and the main thing that you qualify as a small business! C-corp is NOT a small business by any means! You have to realize that from the start.. 🤯

In retrospect I am asking: it might not have been just a random coincidence that exaclty this bank failed ? At that time it was, I guess, the only bank that could lure in that many non-citizens startups. They were naive, helpless, and above all desperate just to be able to open any bank account at all, they all weren't in a position to choose another bank.
This is a disgrace for the legislature and the government institutions that this is necessary, I mean, that you can't do this in a 'normal' bank.
