I watched all of index before watching railgun and I wish I had watched it in the order in which it is aired. Because railgun made me love this universe even more
ITS BEEN 84 YEARS been waiting for this since last season was airing. cant believe daihaseisai arc is finally here. i know what happens but that just makes even more hype! the op is a banger!
I really like how this first episode takes its time to reintroduce us to the main cast of characters, my favorite being Saten for a number of reasons (sry Misaka fans xD). There appears to be another Level 6 project underway via some of the conversation by whom I think are the Student Council or some other club...idk on those details. With the upcoming arc already setting up, the reintroduction ep was absolutely necessary, even if you watched the Index series as well. Misaka goes yet again like the previous seasons, going with her signature Railgun attack and pose like ep 1 of the previous seasons, unless if I recalled incorrectly. Gunhu's ability is rather vague like that of Touma, which is interesting because we've yet to know enough the latter's true powers, and probably won't anytime soon. This show, along with Haikyuu and Magia Record, will be the hype ones for me this season. But hey, I may get some nice surprises. Eizouken, which I've yet to check out, might possibly be one of them.
I know I'm one of the few who liked the newest Index season and the Accelerator anime but in comparison to prior Index seasons, they were a letdown. But Railgun quality wise is the peak 100% so I'm sure most who enjoyed seasons 1-2 will enjoy this one since this is the studio's bread and butter for the universe.
@@AHBrandonReviews respectfully so. I was a little sad accelerator was only twelve episodes. And many where upset about where in the timeline accelerator took place. My best friend in particular thought it would be accelerator with misaka worst and last order leaving russia. But I myself don't mind where it took place
I believe that they are trying to give us more story in this anime. Instead of just a side glance of events that already happened. I personally believe people who don't watch the side series because it doesn't have enough story. With the introduction of the dust guy. And we FINALLY getting more development on misaki(psychic girl) people need to watch this to have a better understanding of the universe
You should still watch index otherwise you probably really won't understand most things in future episodes. Index is easily boring in comparison because Touma is more generic compared to the cast in railgun even with that the world around the characters is really what drives the series.
This first episode was promising, but I'm such a ToAru-verse fan so I'm biased.
What got me into Index was actually Railgun because it's a universe of it's own. I hope this season proves it has the strongest story overall.
Ditto. Tbh, Railgun is like a K-On take of Index, tbh, for obvious reasons xD

one reason why I love the railgun series is that misaka does her signature move in the first episode...
This is going to be epic, by far the most epic Railgun Arc.

Opening is very clean. It kinda sounds like a repeat mash up of season one and twos first opening. But I LOVE IT

Saten is sweet an cool, but Misaka is the one and only ONEE-SAMA
Loved the episode am an anime only so l hope it can keep up the quality but since railgun never disappointed before am not worried.

You know your toaru. That's all I need to say.

Esper means psychic in Japanese. That's why they go into detail about specific abilities.
I've nooo interest in index, but I've been waitin for more railgun for yeeeears, I'm so hyped

It's not cool
Index 3 is disappointing.
