    When you live in a state with a 10 round mag limit the 1911 is the way.

    The one nice thing that the 2011 Staccato has is a bull barrel. However, for me give me my Cilt Gold Cup 80 series any day of the week. 45 ACP ONLY!!!!!

    Great video. I’ve shot the 45 acp and want a 9mm 1911/2011. I am spoiled by the optic option.

  • @mkshffr4936
    @mkshffr4936 2 месяца назад +1

    There have been double stacks 1911s for decades as you mention so if I wanted a bulkier grip I could get it in a 1911. Being optics ready is irrelevant for me as I would never use it. So pretty much no advantage for me.

    I've seen the Springfield Podigy mostly referred to as a "Double-stacked 1911" specifically and not a 2011, despite the detachable grip. Are there any other major differences?

  • @OldManYelllsAtCloud

    In Australia, We are capped at 10 round magazines. If I'm not attaching an optic, is it worth paying twice the price?

    GRIP SIZE DIFFERENCES!!! Grip size differences. Concealability? Were I to carry a 20211, it would look like I was hiding a toaster.

    the double stacks really arent much wider. without the grips added on the sides, the doubles are danged close to the single in width.

    for those of us living in communist states it makes more sense to get that single stack since youll just be having a bulky 10 round mag in a 2011

    • @societyisboring
      @societyisboring 5 месяцев назад +2

      2011s are unreliable messes. Their trigger mechanism sucks as well as the firing pin set up. If you go double stack go 1911. However these hi Cap pistol guys are simply just idiots. They just don't wanna learn situational control. They fell the need to put 15 in person or down range cause they know they lack control ut also because 9 won't stop a person high on narcotics 45 will it was designed to do so. 9 only beats 45 when it comes to penetration and neither penetrate armor.

    A I have unfortunately been in a gunfight with a 1911. You really always want to have more than eight rounds.. sure you could bring a magazine and have 16 or even a 10-round Plus 1. For real we're not in world war II I am grateful for my 1911 it potentially saved my life. But really I give the glory to God praise Jesus for his hedge protection. Always defensive tool always. If you don't have a sword sell your clothes AND buy one"JESUS". WHAT A WONDERFUL PRIVILEGE IT IS TO SERVE JESUS CHRIST
