Sudden death in a family is a common cause of homelessness. Often, the family members left behind can’t keep up with the bills once the sole provider passes away - that was the case with Arthur. After falling into homelessness due to the passing of his father, he has found hope in the resources that LAHSA and its providers offer. Resources that he remembers didn’t exist for the unhoused community decades ago. LAHSA and its providers are doing more to ensure Angelenos are off the streets and on their way to permanency. #WelcomeHome Arthur!
