Thanks. Question (I am a new laser owner). If you have the Nova, why did you get the BOLT? Doesn't the Nova cover anything you would want to do with the BOLT? I understand why you have the Fibre laser (for metals etc).Thanks!
I can’t answer for him, but if I were to guess, I’d say that the size of the Bolt covers a good portion of the products he offers, and if the Nova goes down, he always has a back up until the Nova is back running. Also, he can run both at the same time when busy.
@whitecollarworkshop is correct! The Bolt can actually engrave things faster than the Nova can and for small items we have, it's just convenient to pop into the Bolt! This past Christmas, there were several days that we just kept the rotary in the Nova doing tumblers and the Bolt was free for everything else. Also, the Bolt actually does a better job for photo engraving for us! The RF tube in the Bolt provides a more detailed engraving! And when I did have an issue with the Nova...we had the Bolt to run while we got the Nova sorted out!
