Thanks for taking the time to put this together Adam. Cheers from the Unitronic team!
Thanks for calibrating such amazing software for all of us to use!!!
Unitronic Corporation Inc. Why don’t you just make a mobile app for program switching similar to APR and just own the RS3 aftermarket. If you made an iPhone app I would switch over from my Stg2 APR RS3 in a minute.
@@ARamzze Thanks for your feedback, Alex. We take good note of it!
I love Unitronic and the uniconnect cable. Has been flawless for a couple years on my 2015 Audi A3. I must switch to stock tune each year to pass emissions state inspection. Running a high flow down pipe I must also “trick” the 02 sensor with a mini cat spacer. But without the uniconnect cable I couldn’t run a tune.
Can't wait to see what unitronic does with the 2022+ models.
Adam, can you post some boost graphs I'm interested to see where your PSI comes in vs RPM etc
By far the baddest RS3 in town !
Love it. Keep it up
Good stuff!
Thanks!
Adam why you don't run E85 in the winter? I know injectors need to be upgraded when going stage 2 E85, do you switch injectors when you switch from E85 to the 93 file in the winter?
E85 doesn't like cold. You get rough starts. Plus I've never racing in the winter. Why waste money on fuel and wear and tear on the vehicle? No, you don't need to switch the injectors back to OEM to run 93 after you've run E85. Unitronic has made a tune for 93 while running the upgraded injectors.
In France we have multimap, we select e85 map or octane 98 map with cruise controle switch
Very cool, what tune do you use?
Vancity Audi KSF motorsport (best audi tuner in France ). They have their own map. My rs3 sedan with milltek downpipe, IE intake and wagner intercooler make 617hp/760nm on e85 and 535hp on octane 98.
Hi. I see in 4:20 there's an option for a Stage2 without any hardware requirement (rev5b). Is it correct?...If so, what would be the expected HP gain over a stage 1+?. Still waiting for their 8Y software... =(
I wouldn't put too much stock into the software descriptions. Just because the hardware isn't listed doesn't mean you don't need it to get the most out of the tune.
If you have the fuel it flex fuel kit ? Does it matter if you have let’s say half a tank or quarter tank of gas and flash it .
It absolutely matters. The Fuel-It kit is just a way you can see what ethanol percentage you are at. You still need to make sure you are between an E60-E85 blend
Hello. I'm looking for help. I have an audi tt rs 8s and I have my uniconnect. I currently have the stage 2 map, e85 but I don't have the same view nor the file rev3rb2 of e85,. wiith the launch control of 8psi.
I know that this file currently has 10psi. How do I get these maps?
Best regards
You'll have to reach out to Unitronic directly via email or phone. Keep in mind different model years and different cars around the world will have differently labeled tunes.
When you run the E85 what gauges and sensors do you use?
I use the following in my car: zeitronix.com/Products/ECA/ECA2.shtml . The gauge cluster is custom made by Reiter Performance.
Please contact Unitronic directly with this issue. Good luck!
Where did you get that nice gauge mount?
It is a custom piece made by Reiter Performance.
Did you change from the Fuel IT? good vid!
Yes, I got rid of my Fuel-It a few months after I bought it in 2018. I have run Zeitronix since and enjoy it a lot more.
@@VancityAudi Nice do you have a link to the product?

Hi Adam I have a 2018 Audi Ttrs and I’m going to use e-85 for the summer/fall. I have the MPI upgraded injectors for the set up. I see on the screen it says “use at your own risk" under the file you’ve chosen. Do you know why?im just curious if you don’t know it’s all good thanks.
That file offers more boost off launch for drag racing with radials or slicks. The likelihood of breaking something goes up the harder you launch your car. Keep in mind these files have changed over the past few years and might not be the same anymore on the Unitronic server.
@@VancityAudi thank you so much. Your always willing to help a fellow car enthusiast, I appreciate your time thank you.
@@skywalk3x You're very welcome. All the best with your build!
Have unitronic stage2 for ecu and tcu ordered and uniconnect+. Atm i have sw from powerlab in my rs3, can i revert my car to stock even though it was already tuned when i got my unitronic stuff? :)
You're going to want to tune the car to stock first with your UniConnect+. Then once the car has been tuned to stock, then flash your car with the Stage 2 files.
Ok, so stock files are in the package aswell? No need to visit powerlab to revert to stock? :)
@@vwtompa correct. You have the ability to flash the car back to a stock tune with the UniConnect+ system
Does Unitronic offer E85 on the DNWA tune?
You'd have to refer to their website for that info. That, or contact them directly to ask.
Hi, quick Unitronic stage 2 98 file question. Resently tuned and today during a pull all power abruptly gone. No fault codes when connected to Unidignostics. No engine lights nothing. Did you ever experience this? Power is way down / seems limp mode... hope you can help. Thanx
Sounds like u are losing boost , check your intake and turbo inlet tubing and check any boost lines make sure they are all connected properly.
Sadly I don't even know what Unidiagnostics is. I would plug in VCDS and see if you have any fault codes present. I have never experienced limp mode myself but have seen videos of other people experiencing it. Your red line will have lowered to 4K if that is the case.
@@VancityAudi Nope redline still all the way, think it might be a boost leak bit will log tomorrow, engine still is smooth no smoke no weird stuff just no power... so think we are ok just a minor problem with a boost hose etc.. fingers crossed. Thanx
@@celebritywatch386 I was thinking the same, will run diagnostic software tomorrow and get a inspection.
Call or email Unitronic. They are great about helping out. If you can log your car do so. Check make sure you have the proper files loaded and matches the fuel.
You seem like you would be a really good Blender, haha get it LOL :-P
Can you run full e85 with the tune, or only e70?
I answer this question in the video
Stage 1 says E85 sensor required. Stage 2 does not say that....Why is this?
It's simply the way Unitronic has labelled their tunes. You should ALWAYS have an ethanol sensor installed when running any additional amount of ethanol
@@VancityAudi Never have on my B5 with no issues. Does this sensor send a signal to the ECU for calculation based off E content? Or is it just personal preference? Because I always test it before I put it in.
@@williambardin94 All it does is confirm the ethanol percentage that is currently in your tank. You do you, if that works for you. For others that have zero experience mixing ethanol into their pump gas and that need to make sure it is not above E30 on pump gas tunes and in between E60 - E85 on ethanol tunes I ALWAYS tell people to install one.
1st lol
whats weird is what u dont recommend is what unitronic recommends on their faq
it says while youre on 93 tune.fill up e85
then drive 20km(12 miles) slow then flash to e85
very weird
Not weird at all. Tuners are known to be be over the top in terms of what they recommend to their customers.
@@VancityAudi so you tune then put in 85
yet it says to put in 85 drive for 20km then tune
which do u think is the safer bet? i did a the right mods just nervous lol
@Rs3 Daily I wouldn't have instructed people to do it the way I showed in my video, if I didn't think it was the correct way 😉
