- Lots in this one !! Eating, drinking, subscribers meet ups, and great band marchers... July the 30th was 10 festas in Malta, I chosen a small but interesting one, Our Lady of Pompeii in Marsaxlokk in the south of the island, it started very quiet but very Quickly turn our an epic evening!!

Really enjoyed this video thanks very much Steve. We stayed at Duncans Guesthouse near the church for 4 weeks last time we visited Malta. Lovely village to stay in.
Yes i bet its quiet in the morning, I didn't even know there was a guest house in Marsaxlokk is it nice ?
@EnglishmaninMalta It's on top of Unico Restaurant (the restaurant was not there when we visited). It's a lovely guesthouse , Michael who runs/ran it, is a very great host.

@EnglishmaninMalta Not too many rooms, maybe 10 or so. It was nothing flash, but very clean, spacious and great friendly staff. It's a great place for a longer stay. Nice freshly cooked hot brekkie included if you wanted that!

Great video Steve,also brilliant idea to add what buses go there, so helpful for anyone visiting Malta and unfamiliar with the island. Never been to a festa yet but looks really entertaining. Big question for me is where did the son in law with the Australian family come from - was it Egypt? Looks like you had a good time there👍👍

Yes it is at bit tiring to do the whole festa from from 7.30 till late , most of the locals go home or have people back home to celebrate the festa
I like your channel but I believe it would be very helpful for non-native speakers if you spoke a little slower. You have a beautiful live there in Malta. What I love about this country is how they combine religious traditions with modernity, icluding full equality for LGBT people.
I do try and speak slow and clear in english ..Try using the the subtitles for your country , Thank you for your support
