Living in Wollongong NSW Australia. I like watching your videos. Brings back lots memories. Been in Australia almost 60 years.I watched the video about the Zonqor point to Xghajra, been to those places before migrate to Australia.I am from Zabbar. We liked to go to swim at Wied il Ghajn.Xghajra beach use to be always rough. Thanks for showing these videos. The Christmas street lights. Merry Christmas. Tina Calleja .
Wollongong ..well thats a mouth full !! there a nice video coming up about Zabbar you will love it behind the scences of the museum and church Christmas videos all Christmas week Do not miss them !!
I am Maltese but live in London, I really enjoy your videos, some of the places you go to, I have never seen them when I lived in Malta. I have to meet you when I come to Malta after Covid 19. and than you for the wonderful videos, which are attracting tourist to visit Malta. Thank you for sharing with us .
Glad you enjoyed it you are telling me ....I was Shocked how beautiful the sea was and the black white contrast ..Really awesome !! just so very dangerous and flaky ...It's got a bad reputation over there ...
Hi Steve. Thanks for showing what my island of birth looks like nowadays. However, please "SLAP on a hat & sunglasses!". Haven't been there since 1988. Greetings from Perth, Western Australia.
John I think I met you at the Maltese association one Friday night in Bayswater I lived in Gozo for 2 years and was introduced to many people there, if not sorry!
@@simplelife6663 Hi mate. Could be! Used to go there on n off until few years ago. Do you live in Malta now?.Been thinking of moving to Malta and Steve, bless him, is making me homesick :-).
Good on ya for filming in summer...Malta heat, the glare of the sun, humidity, etc., etc., thank you for keeping us connected with that wonderful island! :)
Hello steve beautiful walk .Stunning scenery and the water so colourful and inviting on a hot day like that.Cant wait to come to Malta next year .Keep up the good videos and thanks for sharing the beautiful Malta with us.Cheers steve!
Wow, what a stunning stretch of coastline. I love the water in Malta, so clear ❤️ That is such a lovely offer from you to meet people at the airport, knowing how busy you are. You really do spoil your subscribers! 🥰 Fingers crossed for 28th Sept when I should be arriving in Malta 🤞🤞🤞
@@EnglishmaninMalta Hi. I hardly ever seen that water so clear in my days due to human intervention but now it’s been resolved. Noticed some rocks have collapsed and those buildings towards Xaghjra are all new to me. I remember single storey building but now all are much higher.
OMG I am missing Malta this year I love walking from Marsaskala along the seafront to St Thomas Bay it is so beautiful especially being here in winter can’t wait till next year hopefully we can travel overseas 🇦🇺🇲🇹 the only consolation out of this is I got myself a new kitchen with what would have been our spending money in Malta this year 😂😂
What a fabulous walk but in that heat! How could you not get straight in that water? I love swimming off the rocks, not so keen on sandy beaches only if we had non swimmers with us or little kids. Always used those rubber shoes that divers wear to make easy walking on rocks then get in the sea and stay in it for two or three hours at a time. I miss it so much. I am grateful that I had the chance to live there a couple of times though and had many holidays too. Thanks for a lovely look at the sea.
Oh ..I am not crazy about swimming off the rocks but i went over to st thomas bay ....Yes enjoyed the walk beautiful contrast of white ,black and the beautiful sea
I might take you up on an airport pick-up next time I come to Malta Steve (always the 0022hrs touchdown). - Then the race is on for SPB, The Tourist Bar before last orders, & then Sofra Kebab 😀👍. Great video Steve. The picture quality & sound are fantastic. 😀👍🍀 (I reckon the tyre - along with the placy bottles were probably washed into that little bay by the tide Steve. But I know what you mean about the glass bottle plants that often grow out of stone walls ). I wish I was doing all these walks with you Steve, - I'd be as fit as a butchers dog. Be Lucky Steve. Have a good weekend. 😀👍🍀

Wow Steve.... that water is so clear and beautiful, it's why I fell in love with Malta in the first place! Diving in the waters around Gozo and Malta is special. Loved the walk with you and the views.(did you find out what that wire was?) I catch up with you on the live tomorrow.
Yes its a interesting coast i had to cut down the video was over 1 hour ..lol the fort looks interesting but like lots of places was given away on silly rents in the 60s and now they can not get them out ..its a funny wire and hard to get up close to ..was thinking like a zip line ..that coast is constantly eroding so it could have looked differently many years ago ..who knows another mystery of life ..lol
Fantastic Steve. I was at Zonqor Point on my last visit to Malta at the beginning of the year, it was very rough then. I will post some of my pictures and videos to holiday Malta on Facebook. The building you passed “Dive-Med” is a Scuba diving company, it is attached to the Olympic size swimming pool there. It is sometimes opened to the public during the summer period, or at least was when I was younger. I remember diving off the pedestals and swimming in there as a child. I must get back over to Marsascala next summer
Great video Steve, lovely cost line. I used to have an Uncle that had a boat house at St Thomas bay and spent some wonderful summer days there. I was wondering if you where going to make to the Malta Film Studios between Fort Rinella and Fort St Rocco, I remember seeing them setting for a movie shoot one year and it was very interesting. Cheers
Yes its beautiful but very dangerous....at the moment i am charging it while in the camera .and i got a bit mixed up which i charged thats why the mix up but i am sure its about 2 hours i need to buy a charger ...its a great camera

I enjoyed this walk! Thank you. About the tire, isn't it possible that the tire floated in on the tide or with the wave action? It might have fallen off a ship or was discarded somewhere else. We could possibly blame it on the Libyans. Lol
I'm just about to go for a swim outside my house in the North Sea, I wish it was as pretty as the sea in your video. What a lovely adventure with old towers and a black lagoon. I would love to live rough in one of those caravans. Did you know your Gopro gives you an orb above your head?. Maybe it's your halo Saint Steve of Malta 😇. I loved the bit where you left the camera and walked towards it. It was like you were an alien on a rocky planet and the orb was the earth in the sky. 🌚👽
