She shouldn't complain; at least she found someone that follows all her orders like a good dog! In one breath she says it doesn't involve Parker, and next she's piling all her crap on him. Whenever Parker makes a point she can't argue, she tells him not to yell at her. OMG, the Trans-Am manipulation is incredible. As an adult child of a narcissist, I feel for Parker; the mom doesn't have the capacity to understand the damage she's doing, and she never will-even if it's explained to her. It took me too many years to learn that a narcissist has no empathy or self-awareness. I hope Parker learns this earlier than I did. Having a narcissistic parent is so difficult. Therapy really helps. I wish Parker and his siblings luck and happiness.

The plain fact that are calls the step dad “Daddy” To Parker and you, Caleb, his actual dad, she calls, “Caleb” to him shows the parental alienation. But, the end result (because Parker is clearly smart) is that she alienated herself. I hope Parker is doing amazing now. This shows incredible strength.

I first saw this video back in 2013 when I was 15 (I'm just a year older than Parker), and I felt for him, having been raised in a toxic, narcissistic household myself. Little did I know that I'd be in the exact same situation two years later. Candace reminds me so much of my own mother, and I can see right through her manipulation tactics. "Don't forget I love you, I raised you, you're my child," etc. After continuously berating them, destroying their self confidence, and trying to control their life. I hope he's doing well today.

But no one seems to see through the dad's manipulation with a RUclips channel that says the exact same thing. "I'm your hero! I want you with ME!!!" He "cries" on a RUclips channel. Who's the toxic manipulator again?
Any good mother would cry when her child has been deceived.
the dad (author of video) does is create an environment where there's the deception of no accountability for the kid. Deception.
Why all the hatred toward the mother after all these years? After "victories"? Who's toxic?
And manipulating the Bible even. All plants good but in God's context. Still calling people names after all the kids are grown the dad got his way deceiving them. Still criticizing. Making RUclips money off of family pain by REPOSTING. They should sue for the money made off of them on RUclips. If I was her, that's what I would do.

Judging the whole situation and the character of the people involved by the single factor that the dad doesn´t pay child support (wich the children obviously don´t need) and ignoring the statements by the kid (in this vid and other ones) and the 1 hour long video evidence we have of that woman´s narcissistic mindset, manipulation and willingness to use physical violance against her child show what kind of person you´ve grown into. Same except both parents were toxic for me. Idk if to say, fortunately / unfortunately but 5 years ago they both independently (were divorced) died of alcohol related illnesses within 6 months of each other.
I'm glad that I'm free of the toxicness is out of my life. But I'm remorseful of losing my parents and that they couldn't see where their faults were.
Also wish I had my grandparents' influence longer. They were better for me but everyone was died at the same time period. Glad my mom outlived her mom... didn't want either of her parents to experience that. Her dad had dementia along with parkinsons... if he was aware (hope not) of what happened, he couldn't even talk about it. I really miss my grandparents the most.
I wish I could tell you to enjoy time with your mom, while you can. But that's not really the world we live in.
      (Also sorry about the rant)

I hate hearing the "I love you" after every hurtful word, sentence or situation they've caused or said, but they somehow manage to turn the tables and blame me for every argument and every little thing that happens.
They say "we are here to help and support you" "we love you" "you can tell us anything", but it's funny, when you are supposed to be safe and find comfort in your own house with your family, I don't, . I don't know what to do about this. my mother left me on the floor of my room, crying my eyes out because of something she did and said to me, and then she demanded an apology from me.

When my oldest son was 15 years old, he went for a summer visit with his dad and decided he didn’t want to come back either. It absolutely broke my heart and I cried for days, weeks even (never in front of him). But I understand it was what he wanted and he was his own person. He also didn’t want to move back to Texas which was where my new husband was stationed. I knew he wasn’t comfortable with it and for him and his happiness/well-being , I let him go. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
A year later I left my husband in the military (which was the problem), moved back to my/our hometown and my son happily came back to live with me and his siblings. His dad wasn’t quite as understanding but I know what he was going through. Regardless, we always worked together for the best situation for our child. This lady is just thinking of herself. She’s has major control issues. It’s so obvious that she just wants to control everything and everyone around her. Sad, pathetic, enraging!

Standing up for your kids is the only right thing to do! So glad the kids are doing well! I know she's his mama, but the gaslighting is astonishing. I couldn't imagine living with that. She's pulling out all the stops. Her fear of losing control is mounting, watching Parker struggle through the gaslighting and manipulating is heartbreaking
I have 1 kid with my ex and 3 with husband. I couldn't imagine doing this to him. If a father is being a father, let shut up and let the man be a father! When my husband and split up, I refused to cooperate with the state to go after ex for child support because he was paying his support with us ever having to go to court. You don't screw someone just because you can. It's wrong. My ex had financial troubles off and on, I still never went after him. He is a great father. Women have got stop turning great fathers into distant men! Your kids will eventually find out and will resent you for it! Think about your kids and not yourself or your new partner! Ffs!

I’m late to this story. However, I have lived it myself, and it is why I’m an advocate for people. Children, are people too. How to soon people become parents and look to their children as property. You’re an awesome dad! Those experiences I had of feeling helpless and not having a voice , lead me to the career I so proudly do today. I commend Parker as he showed the bravery of a man who has lived a life of a man. To have that that bravery at 14 needs to be admired and instilled in a PSA, and give hope to children in a similar set of circumstances. I wasn’t as brave, and it was NYC in the early 90’s. The system then more than often believed the parent over the child. He stood his ground. Under the threat of police, jail, manipulation, and plain old duress. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Parker handled it SO well for it being such a traumatizing, stressful situation and he was only 14! You could only see how scared he was everytime he thought about having to go back in that house, especially after standing his ground against this bad joke of a mother, my god. You being with him gave him the safety to finally say everything to her that upset him and made him angry without fearing what she and that doofus (loved that lol) will do to him. Her face when the officer told her she can try everything to get him out is so scary man...also the fact she didnt even flinch while her child is screaming at her to stop and only switching back to the "crying worried mother" role when the officer told her off. Daaamn. Smart of you to film this all, saw this for the first time ever and I hope he recovered from that experience. I'm glad this situation went the way it did/the police being a good example of how to handle a situation like that... and that you showed how to be calm & mature...while shes just acting straight up insane and trying to gaslight the hell out of that kid every chance she got. "I'm not trying to sue you..." while just asking abt it IN FRONT OF HIM lol!!!! So all the other "I don't yell at you!/I didn't grab you by the throat! /We are not fighting all the time" Have as much worth as that. Will watch the follow up now...

I have 5 living sons and my eldest whom passed on ( at 18 yrs old 4 years ago) and Parker, reminds me of my eldest son.. and Respectful in a high conflict situation and held his boundaries.. The only person that has a problem with boundaries are people that like to run them over..I believed every word he said.. and seen the truth for what it was..

Mr. Parker was NOT having her BS inside that house that day 🤣💃🏿 when she said he hit Me 🤦🏿‍♀️ the step dad reacted way too fast, smh he had to remember the damn cops was right there. their actions in this video shows exactly why Mr.Parker kept it pushin with Dad ✌🏿 im so proud of him and excellent job Dad 🖤🙌🏿

You are a wonderful father Caleb! I am in the same position you were, it sucks and I don’t agree with the system making the dads feel like nothing. I wish I could be your friend so you could help me along the way.

I've seen this so many times, and I'm so impressed by how you're able to control your emotions and passivily support your son while listening to her manipulative diatribe.

If you think about it, he shouldve came about this differently.. a parent who really loves there child and respect the mother of their child will do that. He weoponized the whole situation to his advantage. If you listen in the first video, she said he never paid his child support and he respoded with ill start doing that.. so the whole time he wasnt paying child support. He only cared about the situation so he wont be incriminated. The mother really loves her child because she still never told her son what her husband really was.. because it would hurt her to see her son realize the truth of everything.. i watched this video when i was a teen and was in the fathers side but as i got olde really pay attention to what the father only responds to and how he went about it.

My husbands Bio Mother was a physically and mentally abusive narcissist. He's the one who showed me this video a few years back. It reminds him of when he left her, back when he was 16. He's now 29 and was able to grow an unbreakable relationship with his Dad. He has not talked to bio-mom in 6 years. Good job Parker for sticking up for yourself, and good job Dad for helping him!

Good job Parker,I sometimes go back and watch this video, and the fact that this woman has the audacity to not only say his daddy’s first name in front of him,and calls his step dad “Daddy”,is completely disrespectful to Parker’s actual dad,she is a narcissist and a control freak, good job Parker, and good job sir on everything you have done not only for Parker, but for all your other kids! Kudos to you sir! Keep on keeping on 😊

No matter how many times I watch this video, it makes me tear up, I remember being in this exact same situation multiple times, hearing the exact same words from my mother, only difference was that her husband was a lot more aggressive and violent. It took years, but my mother got fed up with me and booted me out of the house at 15, sent me to my dads but refused to sign any custody papers, so I had to attend the school in her town, which was 3 towns over from my dads. She then decided that she wanted me back home and had the school get involved telling me I had to go back to her home. There is so much wrong, and it happens all too often. My dad did everything he could for me and my siblings. The state of Illinois truly screwed him over.

Huge hugs and kudos for making it through that and Parker for being so strong. Been there… it’s such unnecessary trauma/drama for the kids, you, and your loved ones. My boys are grown now youngest just turned 18 but the affects sure take a while to recover from. Thank you so much for standing up and sharing. Weird Is Good. Lol Thanks for helping renew faith there are good peeps. Much love and happiness.

What a strong boy. I felt so sorry the whole time watching. What a horrible mother. I was in the same situation with my stepmother. She was abusing me mentally and emotionally - sometimes she would also hit me until I had enough when I was 14. One day I was pretending to go to school, was hiding in the park, returned home when my father and stepmother were driving off to work and my mom picked me up with my stuff. We planned it the evening before on the phone. After she picked me up, we drove directly to the youth welfare office to get some paperwork which confirmed I am allowed to choose to live with my mom from that day on. I am living in Germany and it was pretty simple and quick fortunately. I called my Dad at work to tell him, which was pretty hard. He wasn’t the problem and didn’t abuse me, but he wasn’t there for me how he should have. He didn’t stop her BS. I was finally free and it was the best decision ever. I have huge respect for Parker, because I could never have handled that situation face to face.

you’re an amazing father. my parents are divorced, i had a dad more like you and a mom exactly like parkers. my dad passed so now im living full time with my mom and no one is here to keep her in check. its hell here, she gave me ptsd that landed me in a psych ward. seeing parkers story and courage was the final straw, im 18 and i need to get out. watching him get treated the exact same way i get treated, down to the same phrases and wording, really helped me understand this is not okay even if she is my mom. just like parker i cannot continue living like this. thank you for helping me and im sure a lot of people like me.

please find a safe alternative like living with friends or something similar. be careful out there, and don't let her control you.

I came from tik tok. It's amazing to know that you achieved to be together. I had two manipulative parents and it was so hard to handdle de divorce + everything was involved. I know that child was making the best desition of his life ( i wish i had a dad as supportive as you). I hope you're ok and finally happy. Hugs from Colombia.
