Separating emotion from reason is exactly what has led diplomacy to be ineffective. Emotion can be used as a tool for efficiency as well as inefficiency. How about merging reason and emotion for it to be efficient? We are emotional beings, therefore emotion has to be accounted for. If you discard emotion, you cannot understand your counterpart as we inevitably come across counterparts from other cultures whose emotions are predominant over reason. Now what? AI replacing us humans to do this job? That seems to be a very lazy way to resolve diplomatic issues. Helping ourselves before others helping can be a solution. I am quite shocked by the diplomats rhetoric nowadays, me being a student of diplomacy.
Considering that the video is posted 4 years ago This man went way ahead of his time !!
