Stefen Colalillo that is true and i like the diy from odin and the other guy. the stuff Elizabeth does pisses me off seing as she doesnt try to fix any of the things she sews together just hem it please.
Stefen Colalillo True, but I appreciate side content pertaining to creation, as opposed to things that don't, all the art stuff on this channel tends to be pretty cool.
That's not a bracer, that's a Phantom Blade! And it's on the wrong side of his forearm! _And_ it belongs to Arno Dorian, not Ezio! Even I know that, and I don't know _anything_ Assassin's Creed! Although I suppose they might not have access to the original Hidden Blade, since that one was made by Tony Swatton.
for the computer image copying technique, you can also use an HDMI cable to your TV for larger pieces and tape a poster board to the top so it doesn't mess up the screen and trace over that. I've been doing that for a lot of things lately. thanks for all the great tips!
This is something I hate! In the beginning of diy cosplay shop you used normal stuff that everybody has or could easily get but now it is way to advanced
How is this even advanced? The most advanced thing I saw was a sewing machine and worbla. Which have been used in previous episodes AND you can hand sew anything?
Emil Svensson Such as what? The most advanced things she used in this were a hot knife, a Dremel, and Worbla. You don't really need Worbla and a hot knife for this anyway, you could just use standard EVA foam for the belt. As for the sewing machine.. You're watching cosplay tutorials.
Finally! I've been waiting for your adaptation of an assassin's creed cosplay for SO long! I can see that the wait was worth it! Great job Elizabeth! Can't wait to see what other wonders that you'll create! :)
Costume wishlist: Probably too R-rated, but Zhora from Bladerunner I'd like to see some armor, so Sabine from Star Wars Rebels would be fun. Or just about any iconic suit of armor. Riri Williams (Ironheart) would also be a possibility. I want to see Rorschach from The Watchmen, just to see how you approach the mask. (That would be a fun crossover with Prop Shop since they could build the grapple gun) And I have a kind of crossover challenge. "What if the Avengers were the Fellowship of the Ring?" Basically re-imagine the Avengers as fantasy characters, while still keeping them recognizable, but try to flavor your designs with the aesthetic of the Lord of the Rings films. (The Justice League would be okay, too.)
I wish they could've also used Edward's hidden blade that Tony Swatton made. He and Matt have worked on projects before, and it would've been nice to see another reunion.
It ended up looking bad as a whole, but realise how quick this was made, and how good the midsection (aka nearly all of the work here) looks, then imagine she had a week instead. This would have made a better part one than a complete video but don't say she's bad because that looks pretty great for that amount of time.
Well she didn't lie when she said show you the basics. We've seen warble being used in every video. Something new that we needed from this video was how to shape a hood.
I don't really have an issue with how the costume turned out, more that the tutorial didn't go into nearly as much detail as it usually does. I was kind of hoping for some more in depth stuff. I don't know about anyone else, but I watch these videos to see how people tackle the costume in it's entirety -- not "I made a template and sewed the template". I mean, yeah, that's how you do any sewing? Especially with this being pretty different from the usual things covered on this show. This, compared to say, Hanzo, is like night and day in terms of quality tutorial teaching. Bummed, but still a fan, Elizabeth. Everyone has an off video, just trying to be constructive instead of moaning three word complaints.
Okay, techniques are important, especially for beginners. Tips on how to work with certain fabrics are always helpful too. Knowing to top stitch suede is not something a novice would think of, and things like using textured fabrics to improve the look of a costume so it's not just chunks of smooth fabric is also pretty great advice. But the thing I still have trouble with, and something beginners definitely do, is altering and creating patterns for the unique shapes and silhouettes in cosplay. Do I need to know the buckle is made out of foam and worbla? Not really. The prop shop people are pretty great at explaining how to work with those harder materials. I'm more interested interested in how the hood was a attached to the rest of the jacket and the shape of the three pieces used to create it. So more focus on patterns and how to piece them together please?
Do a Ghost in the Shell cosplay. I'd like to see you as Major Kusanagi. There are two awesome outfits: the black/white standard outfit and the black/grey combat outfit. Do it! :)
Was hoping for a bit more info on the hood construction, given its unique look. Dimensions and achieving that drop point, while getting the seams to lay flat. But all in all, a decent episode. The fabric choices might be a bit beyond some folks budget, so perhaps a bit of alternate material discussion for those who can't spring for good suede or brocade? Have you thought of posting a parallel episode blog somewhere, with materials, approx quantities, and where appropriate, stencil patterns? Just a thought. Thanks for all this. Really do appreciate the hard work you put into your projects. :)
I'd like to see a Division agent from Tom Clancy's The Division video game. There would be a lot of freedom with the overall appearance as the selection of apparel is very large.
This is your first cosplay costume in where I find myself disappointed... It's Ok. You're like 999 for 1000. We all fall sometimes. It's how we get back up. Keep at it, kid. I believe in you.
Besides the fact that Ezios AC II robes are light grey, NEVER white x,D and the hood is made out of a 17 pieced pattern not "3 or 4 parts" .... the belt insignia is nicely detailed though ... welp thermoplastics
DO ALL THE SUPERHEROS ON THE CW LIKE THE FLASH, ARROW, SUPERGIRL, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, ETC. PLEASE, AND SOME X-MEN COSTUMES (CYCLOPS, JEAN GRAY, NIGHTCRAWLER, ROUGE, SHADOWCAT, SPIKE, STORM, WOLVERINE, BEAST, GAMBIT, ANGLE, AND PROFESSOR XAVIER) AND COULD YOU COMBINED ORIGNAL CARTOON AND EVOLUTION PLEASE.
would like to know, how long would it take to make an assassin's creed cosplay outfit, that looked just like it does in the game, so if a person wearing it standing side by side with a full size cutout poster, no-one could tell the difference between the real life costume and the cutout poster or is it impractical to do so. Cheers, P.S. l love watching the DIY cosplay shop, Miss Rage is AWESOME, would love to be a guinea pig for a cosplay outfit, just as long as my face is hidden, don't want to give anyone nightmares. lol

Doesn't even have the cape, and the armor pieces. She even mentioned the cape before making it. Kind of disappointing
he's wearing the hidden blade wrong too 👎
ItzDiamondz yes
Agree, I wasn't trying to be a hater, just a bit disappointed with the final product
Yeah, noted!
That's not a bracer, that's a Phantom Blade! And it's on the wrong side of his forearm! _And_ it belongs to Arno Dorian, not Ezio! Even I know that, and I don't know _anything_ Assassin's Creed!
Although I suppose they might not have access to the original Hidden Blade, since that one was made by Tony Swatton.
looks like something you'd buy your kid from wallmart on halloween
Aaron B but worse. Spirit halloween had far more authentic looking ones
Aaron B don't wanna be mean but that is so true 😂😂😂😂
ishida ryusei agreed, I bought one from there and it looks so much better than this
that's ture. but she says she only got 2 days of work. in that amount of time I think it's pretty good
AWE me could you please do a Jacob cosplay
Online shopping: Expectation vs Reality
Bladeknight Bleu As much as that makes sense, it's not all bad for shopping. I've gotten a decent price for an anime costume in the past.
your wearing the hidden blade backwarss
you're
AD S exactly 🤣
AD S it's also the wrong hidden blade
Yep ( hating existence )
Technically he is not because the first hidden blades (AC origins) were made to be worn the other way round

now a days you can get pre-made patterns for the fabric part...
Check out FrigginBoom. Guy makes everything by hand and it looks cool. Right now he's making a dumpster Batman costume which is worth ckecking out.

yeah no
Am I the only one disturbed and bit frustated that Matt has the hiddenblade gauntlet upside down? xD
I think that is way too much fabric for the costume. Looks like he's wearing a blanket over his head
This was really bad...
I think it was great
@@godwinmoloni2235 I think it sucked
Wrong side of the bracer and it’s the Arno victor Dorian blade.. I’m speechless that you can mess it up THAT bad!😂

I'll be honest, this was a bad episode. It felt extremely incomplete and short.
I know that's not a really iconic character but I really would like to see you realizing the "Dishonored" Whaler Cosplay.
Amazing work !
fancy... can't wait to try different stuff with this tutorial to make this my own... thanks for the help
I wish they could've also used Edward's hidden blade that Tony Swatton made. He and Matt have worked on projects before, and it would've been nice to see another reunion.
You didn't t explain the hood, how was it made?
Go on E-bay or Amazon buy a hood and stick it to the costume
6:19 Ezio costume with Altaïrs sword, and with Arno Dorian's Phantom blade. What the actual heck! 😕
Thanks for the zipp lock bag idea, i will be using this in the future.
