    • @LifeWithQueenii
      @LifeWithQueenii  4 месяца назад +2

      No sand when they move outside, the sand is just for inside when I start them. There is a whole ecosystem outside and unfortunately fungus gnats are apart of it but I don’t have issues with them outside even though they are out there. The sand is to allow the seedlings to grow large healthy roots systems in the first part of their lives so that when they move outside some fungus gnats nibbling on their roots won’t bother them much

    • @LifeWithQueenii
      @LifeWithQueenii  4 месяца назад

      If you have an infestation I recommend a flush with mosquito bits , just add it in a gallon of water and let it sit over night and water your plants like normal and add a 1/4 inch or 1/2 layer of sand ontop. You will no longer water from above moving forward only bottom watering. This will keep the sand in place and the plants will get the water where they need it, the roots.
