i’m not gonna lie as a knicks fan we struggled covering the pick and roll most of the game and it wasn’t towards the late 4th where we really figured out a coverage to beat it

Yeah, but people don't realize bad calls don't just go one way! There were also bad calls toward the Knicks, which could have caused the Pacers to win. End of the day, if you can't close out and the game is close, it's pretty stupid to blame refs. Kickball was atrocious, and as a Knicks fan, I am willing to recognize that.

Keep the game a half court slog and Pacers will struggle to win 1 game.

I agree. As a Knicks fan we were getting torched in the pick and roll and had at least 3 or 4 plays in the first half where a miscomm led to a wide open shot. Our defense was sloppy overall relative to how we looked against Philly. I fear the minutes are catching up with us.
I mean, they were the highest scoring team in the league in the regular season for a reason. They ain't gonna completely shut them down. I'd argue the 14 turnovers by the Knicks and only having 1 more offensive rebound than the Pacers had more to do with them trailing than anything else.

Used to be that you could play defense on these guards.😊 Nowadays the referees do not allow you to touch these players so they are able to score ridiculous amounts of points. So the game now is try to contain the average instead of actually stopping them. So it's not hard for these teams to score over points. Not even a 20-point lead is safe in this league anymore and that's fucking crazy!
