Interesting take. One of the things that struck me about Usyk during the first fight was his ability to adjust to his opponent and capitalize on Fury's movement and tendencies. I'm looking forward to the rematch. It will clearly be difficult for Fury. That doesn't mean that Fury can't win. Of course he can. But it will be extremely difficult.
Barry made a great point. The key to Usyk's success against Fury was hitting him often not with one or two power shots. Usyk just kept chipping away, chipping away until Fury started to buckle and with Furys lifestyle and miles on the clock thats all Usyk has to do again.

Fury is not an inside fighter usyk is !! Fury was constantly on the back foot PLUS, , you have to have the endurance ,speed, and the engine to keep up with him as big as someone is that Means shitE to USYK he’s proven that many times . people fail to come to reason he’s fought all styles his whole career with bigger opponents usyk is TROUBLE for anyone you’ll see in the rematch . I’ll never bet against USYK
Agree with Barry , a very fair verdict on the outcome , Fury’s days are over , he is a lucky man gaining the refs favour in many of his last few fights .
Very wise words if you can’t hit big hit often usyk has Tyson’s number like Tyson did with wilder it’s life Tyson’s a mint fighter I agree but it’s time to hang up them gloves
The difference between Usyk and Fury in the last fight: 1. Seriousness/focus 2. Will/Determination 3. Resilience 4. Belief/faith If Fury can address the above, the he stands a chance to win the rematch. He still has some advantages or abilities to beat Usyk which Usyk himself know 😊
Fury is a super fighter and always has a chance. He has great ring IQ. We saw that in how he used the ropes to just about keep himself up and survive. But Usyk is superb and I cant argue with McGuigan as i have never put on a glove.
What Barry doesn't consider is Tyson recovery. Ok, it could have been ruled out a KO under other circumsances, but this is not a tennis or football match where a wrong decision is made and you walk away with it: Fury went to the 1 minute before R10 basically out and recovered. I didnt expect that: I thought was the end. After such recovery and having seen Breidis and Del Boy blueprint to have a very close fight with Usyk I believe he has the tools to win the rematch. A very hard fight for both
@jualinachomoza - Absolutely. Marvin Hagler got it right when he said "it gets hard to get up for a 5am run when you are wearing silk pyjamas" Fury has made a lot of money and I'm inclined to believe that he is getting a little weary of boxing at the top level, even though he would deny it.
Never a truer word spoken Usyk has his number, he's always had it because of the skill he has, Fury is fine against slow lumbering heavies but his best assets are nullified against a clever and skillful fighter like Usyk.
He said fury isn't a elite fighter lol Usyk won the fight without question but it wasn't a easy fight for Usyk. I do agree fury is past his best but to say something so ridiculous as fury isn't a elite fighter is just plain stupidity. I still think usyk will beat fury in the second fight because father time has caught up with fury. If fury and Anthony Joshua fights in the future i would have to go with Anthony Joshua winning i think he lives a cleaner lifestyle than fury. After the second fury vs wilder fight i think if fury had fought Anthony Joshua back then fury would have won. It was the Francis ngannou fight that showed fury is past his best He looked like he hadn't been in a gym for month's. A guy that hasn't had a professional boxing match shouldn't put the world champion down and push him all the way a lot of people thought Francis ngannou won the fight. Going back to what barry said about fury wasn't a elite fighter is absolutely total stupidity. A better way to describe fury is a elite fighter past his best.

Fury will get knocked out this time. He can't win as he can't knock Usyk out. The only change he has of winning is if Usyk suffers a heart attack during the fight
Even if fury beat Usyk, I'm forever grateful for that 1st fight! 100 years from now boxing historians will still look back at Usyk's career and ask if he's the greatest of all time, or Ali
That was a great fight for 4 belts Undisputed championship. 100 years from now, people will still be laughing at fat Andy beating up the bodybuilder AJ and making him quit😂
It's easy to make that prediction based on the first fight, but nobody knows how Fury comes back from a loss. He could come up with a way to beat Usyk, he definitely has the talent to do it. It's going to be fun to observe him being a massive underdog in the second fight.
He was in that first fight and he lost. That was the best Fury I'd ever seen and it just wasn't enough and he ended up taking a lot of damage from it which is only a negative. If Usyk lands again flush which might happen in the later rounds due to Fury's fatigue it's over.
@@dangosypethau Fury isn't an inside fighter so that won't work against Usyk the same way as Chisora did against Usyk. The reason it was so effective with Chisora against Usyk is because Chisora has one of the best chins in boxing and he's a brilliant inside fighter with zero fear to get hit, Fury doesn't have the inside fighting knowledge being the taller guy that smaller fighters have so he risks getting counter punched or timed and rattled on the way in.

Fury was held up by the ropes .. that’s all
@@BABZY627It wasn't a TKO. The ref worked according to the rules. If the ropes or ringpost stop a fighter from going down, a knockdown should be called. Well done Fury for recovering after being out in his feet, and well done Usyk for a hard fought and deserved win on points. If Fury isn't finished, the rematch could go either way.
Over the top, fury gave Usyk his hardest fight since Mairis Briedis, It was a good and close fight, he could absolutely win Though the last fight should probably of been a TKO for Usyk
Nah he could, I don’t tnink he can win a fair fight against Usyk, but he could win a really dirty fight especially with help from the judges. He did pretty good in 4-6 against Usyk, also Usyk won about 9 rounds and got a knockdown and still only got a a split decision, and the judges who did score it for him I think had it 6-6 but the knockdown made the difference and 7-5. The point is if fury wins 4 clean rounds and avoids the knockdown in the rematch they give it to him. Also Usyks older idk what fight it’ll be but eventually Father Time will catch up with him.

Never say never. When you do, you're almost always wrong!!!
he talks through his arse.
We will see barry 😮
love you M8 und alway listen to you x
A bang on summery 💯👌👏👊
Great respect for you Barry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing how F/Fanboys refer to the word "hater" when a personal honest opinion and assessment is given...don't realise how "woke" they really are...like little kids in a schoolground...c/Mon guys we all allowed our opinions and preferences...😅
Ay you hater 😂😂
I have seen Anthony Joshua fanboys using the word "hater" and "jealous" for anyone that criticises AJ😂
@@paulanthony5274 Mate! Femi fanboys say that Lennox Lewis jealous of AJ. They call Teddy Atlas a "hater". They also attacked Efe Ajagba when he said, "AJ is not a real Nigerian"😂
@paulanthony5274 I don't hate ANYONE...you've just proved my point regarding childish wokers...
I wasn't expecting this from Barry. I think if Fury comes in on form, he can do the job.
Barry called Fury/Usyk right from day one and he was spot on, Fury will never beat Usyk
And how accurate was his analysis on fury uysk..
🤝
this guy knows boxing
Fury beats usyk next time ..
Fury decides if he wants to win, - so simple is it
Krassuk has been talking about Anthony Joshua trilogy to avoid the contracted Fury rematch😂
Not going to happen mate 😅😅😅😅
@@Anthony.Joshua-s_Irish_GrandmaUsyk “Tyson I will not LEAVE YOU ALONE !! “
Yeh, sure mam
Fury hasn’t served the sport well
He held the belt hostage for too long, messing about with wrestling, and mma fighters, instead of defending against worthy opposition.
Usyk is only an inch shorter than Itauma. It's curious how much taller the biggest guys are now, meaning the yardstick and perception changes for all. Of course, not all are built the same, Usyk has done an amazing job coming from cruiser upwards.
This interview aged well ...

You right!!!!!
The difference between Usyk and Fury in the last fight:
1. Seriousness/focus
2. Will/Determination
3. Resilience
4. Belief/faith
If Fury can address the above, the he stands a chance to win the rematch. He still has some advantages or abilities to beat Usyk which Usyk himself know 😊
Correct dear sir
But the fight was very close until the 9th round. If you remove that round, maybe the fight would have been drawn or Fury winning.
Fury is a super fighter and always has a chance. He has great ring IQ. We saw that in how he used the ropes to just about keep himself up and survive. But Usyk is superb and I cant argue with McGuigan as i have never put on a glove.
💯 agree Fury will never beat Usyk , different levels.
A very hard fight for both
Skill, power, all that stuff is good but as Barry rightly puts it, lifestyle out of camp catches up to everyone. Usyk wins again.
He said fury isn't a elite fighter lol
Usyk won the fight without question but it wasn't a easy fight for Usyk.
It was the Francis ngannou fight that showed fury is past his best
He looked like he hadn't been in a gym for month's.
USYK ISNT A GREAT,ELITE BOXER HES JUST THE BEST OF A BAD LOT. NEVER WILL WE SEE A DIVISION LIKE WE HAD IN THE MID TO LATE 80s AND THE 90s THAT GOES FOR MOST DIVISIONS
Old barry I remember Jimmy Mac ending your career.. Barry don't like talking about that fight he still gets nightmare now thinking of it lol he couldn't handle Jimmy mac 😅😅
Tyson has to hit Usyk hard enough and more often for any realistic chance next time. Love to see some reversed priorities from him in the rematch, less rest and more hard work.
0:13 not nice to say but a plumber took a fight with Barry Mcguigan and that ended his career they don’t like Tyson fury none of them I wonder if they met him and say these thing to his face no they wouldn’t Lennox Lewis lost his belts and came back he gave klitschko a good fight I hope Tyson puts it on him then they will come around I knew you could do it Tyson what a back stabbing lot I it’s time that usky felt defeat sick of all praises he is getting come back Tyson our champion
100%
when you have mental strength like usyk he can't be beat ... hes just cut from another cloth
Nonsense, Usyk has only just won all 4, Ali was undisputed numerous times and had a murderers row of exceptional victims.
Don't be so naive.

It's easy to make that prediction based on the first fight, but nobody knows how Fury comes back from a loss. He could come up with a way to beat Usyk, he definitely has the talent to do it. It's going to be fun to observe him being a massive underdog in the second fight.
We do, he lost to john mcdermott but usyk is no mcdermott
That is a wierd thing to say, history have show that anything can happend
This is heavy guys, a perfect hit can turn the table
If Fury is in shape stops clowning and goes after Usyk, he’s more than capable of winning the fight
Fool😂😂
war Chisora mentality needed from Fury
@@universesixhit642 more hard hitting punches and combinations from Fury is what I mean not that he should become a dell boy

Fury can’t beat Usyk, he can only cook tasty dumplings for boxing fans 🥟 😅
Only 2 ways Fury has a chance v Usyk ~ 1. Go back to Peter OR 2. Join the McGuigan stable.
My humble opinion is that Fury hurts Usyk in the rematch and even gets a knockdown but Usyk stops Fury between rounds 10 or 11.
Usyk even helped tyson through after that round ended just sat back the next round
Barry back our first ever heavy weight champion...you did same to naz hamed? Why? Your a ex champion but you seem to fault pick our legendary guys....baz steve cruz Nailed you
Wasn't the first match close
Everyone is writes off Tyson fury when he has only ever lost 1 fight by a split decision.
If you rewatch the fight, maybe you’ll come to a different conclusion. It was close but not as close as you think… that referee kept interfering even before the ninth round every time usyk was getting the best of fury .. the ref kept usyk away .. it was at TKO in the 9 th .
You are right furry will never beat usyk because both of them are tactical boxers but usyk is stronger than furry .
what about skye Nicolson for Caroline Dubois ?
Barry boxed better than predicts
What you talking about Barry. Usyk was Furys easiest fight ever. Too easy in fact
OMG ! You must be on pure cocaine just like big Luke !! you fury cheerleaders are something else😂
"Usik beat fury every day of the week and twice on sunday" great quote😂😂😂
Over the top, fury gave Usyk his hardest fight since Mairis Briedis, It was a good and close fight, he could absolutely win
Though the last fight should probably of been a TKO for Usyk
Nah he could, I don’t tnink he can win a fair fight against Usyk, but he could win a really dirty fight especially with help from the judges. He did pretty good in 4-6 against Usyk, also Usyk won about 9 rounds and got a knockdown and still only got a a split decision, and the judges who did score it for him I think had it 6-6 but the knockdown made the difference and 7-5. The point is if fury wins 4 clean rounds and avoids the knockdown in the rematch they give it to him. Also Usyks older idk what fight it’ll be but eventually Father Time will catch up with him.
