the fish didn't move much, which makes me think that he bought them elsewhere and just put 'em in the trap.
furthermore, there's a little mistake in the design. the entrance "cones" should be at least 3-4cm inserted, so that it is impossible for fish to aim at it.
the way he made it it is almost at the inner walls level, not secure enough.
overall it's a promising design.
nice trap and it works probably better in warmer months too

Atleast two of those fish died. They don't deal too well with being smashed in the head with rocks. You don't even need the rocks, just fill it befor you throw it out.

This trap is perfect for a pike angler because you have unlimited free bait.
I might suggest taking a plastic baggy and filling it with sand or something and putting that in it to weigh it down, as I feel like the shaking against the rocks may have been harmful to the fish as well as making it harder to get to them. I know you probably don't care too much about the fish if you're doing this, but if you're catching a fish you should at least try to make it as quick as possible, not slow and filled with pain and injury.

I for one would have used some sort of plaster or solid liquid to make ballast that would not move when the bottle is shaken. Either that or taken a large rock and tied it to one side of the bottle. Keeping many small rocks in the bottle which gets thrown around at the fish as you pull the trap in, ain't exactly that good to the fish, no matter if you intend to keep them alive or eat them.
The best part was that you released the fish..

what is the material of the name that drill the bottle??
I used to make some trap like this when I was a kid and the only problem for these kinds of trap is the fish probably gonna die in a short time after stuck in there due to a lack of oxygen inside the bottle. Same probelms seem to appear in this video.
