I have Reflection 45 and it is most definitely a piece of art. Unfortunately it's not something I grab for often but it's perfect for formal occasions. It's very unique and it will attract attention. Most people are more so intrigued versus wanting to actually smell like you. At the end of the day, I appreciate the art and skill of making such a unique fragrance.
@@Bang4711 I am still searching for my signature scent. I have been trying decants. Some of the scents I really liked don’t last. Killian straight to Heaven by, Roja Dove Elysium PC. I was looking to try Reflection man 45, and Roja Dove Amber Aoud.
@@danielstanley9046 Reflection 45 has good longevity. Elysium is a great fragrance but I also had longevity issues with it. Most "fresh" fragrances don't last very long on my skin. Spicy fragrances perform much better. As a house/brand, Parfums de Marly makes a bunch of signature-worthy fragrances. Almost all of them have great longevity and projection.
I bought a 100ml bottle for under $180 from a discounter. I don't reach for it very often, but I love it and usually save it for special or formal occasions. Great people pleasing fragrance.
I love this one, as much as I love Royal Tobacco or Interlude Black Iris. Yes, the last 2 are monsters in projection and longevity but that gentleness found in Reflection Man...it's extremely hard to find. Thanks Teddy.
By the way, would be nice if you could check whole Orto Parisi line. Way overlooked. They keep blowing me away. Artistic, nuclear performance. Nothing comes close. Megamare, Bergamask, Cuoium are my favorites. Alessandro Gualtieri’s work is just incredible. :)
Great in-depth review! Not sure if this format would work with more popular designer fragrances but I’m curious to see how it would look. I can see how this will definitely work with more niche perfumes like Angels Share or Tam Dao.
I love this scent, but I wish girls liked it as much as I do. Doesn't seem to be too popular with the ladies, it's one of those scents you wear for your own enjoyment
When i started collecting some fragrances, i bought many samples and decants from many sellers, one of those sellers was telling me to try amouage and i gave it a try, bought Dia, sunshine man, interlude, jubilation xxv and i told him i didn't want reflection since i already have prada l'homme and saw some reviewers saying it goes into the same category, so you can skip it if you already own prada l'homme. Since i bought many decants from him, he gave me a sample of reflection man. When i arrive home i started testing this house and let me tell you. If you are new into fragrances and only smell designer perfumes. You won't like this kind of niche strong perfumes... I have so much to talk about my experice with this house. But long story short. I gave it a try and used the sample the next week after already smelling it the 1st time and not really liking it. the 2nd time i tried it i put it on the back of my neck and started walking on the hot weather.... Holy S... i got stunned by the beautiful smell it was projecting, i was leaving a scent trail and i could smell it myself... then i knew i had to get a full sized bottle... same with Jubilation xxv. I can't stand sunshine man or interlude, i have given them so many chances but i don't really like them.
Very similar to Le Male. It has floral notes, and it’s smoother and lighter than Le Male. Le Male can also be worn in the summer if done right, as in a light spray.
@Tom Woods Absolutely! Some I love off the top of my head are Xerjoff-40 knots, Xerjoff-mefisto gentilquomo, Creed-viking, amouage-beach hut man, amouage-interlude man, Parfums de marly-sedley,layton,greenley, houbigant-fougere royal, mancera-cedrat boise, wave Musk, montale-aqua gold, and there's a whole lot more!
Its a perfect all year/office scent! one spray upper chest (one on my neck) under my shirt and i can smell it still very prominent 10 hrs later. My favourite fragrance atm.
It's basically an iris scent even if there's no iris in there, Ylang ylang is basically just what perfumers use instead of iris because it smells just like iris Edit - okay it is actually iris because Orris root is the root of iris
It is very unique, powdery uniqueness. Its nice to wear but don’t expect compliments from women. Its not super masculine or sexy. Its light and light, not heavy and brilliant if you want the concept of Reflection.
@@marc-florianvonweber6987 No sir, I grab a small sample. I wasn't too impressed with the performance. I purchased PDM Carlisle. I found a 77%Vol bottle (Old batch) vs the newer 81%Vol.
Reflection Man is my all time favorite. The most wearable Amouage.
Have you tried beach hunt man?
Or Epic or Jubilation xxv

One of the best frags and timeless scent, which a lot of people don’t know about in mainstream. Good for people like myself

Glad you are enjoying the reviews! Thanks for watching.
If you like Prada L’homme, buy this! It’s essentially the niche version to me. Incredible stuff.
That sounded like you went for the weak spot in my wallet.

Got really big Versace The Dreamer vibes off of this, like the much fancier and much more expensive version of it.
