Just for contacts I'm 57 years old. I have about 70 fragrances in my collection. I was to put it mildly disappointed with dunhill icon. Everybody's nose is a little bit different but to me the pepper in this smells like an ashtray. The performance 4 hours maximum. One way I test performance of a cologne it's the spread on a clean piece of fabric. Several times as a matter of fact maybe three or four. It didn't stick to that for any more than four or five hours and the next day it's still smelled like the laundry soap that I used to clean it with.

I'm wearing Bently for Men Intense right now. Agree it's great. Dunhill Icon = "grape" accord. But I like it. Guerlain Homme EDP is too thin for me. Scented water. Notes promise greatness but it doesn't do it for me. Intense version not much better. L'eau Boisée flanker a little better. I get none of the old classic Guerlain-ade in these. That went out with the old man in the 90's. Vetiver and Heritage are the best of the house. Yes on Kenzo Jungle. I've wondered what the "brush" was on the bottle cap, and thought about the fur of a zebra, or even a brush to clean Jungle boots. Lol. But nice scent. Has a hint of cumin, a note I generally despise, but here I think of it as the sweet of a jungle hat or canvas of a tent. And just about any Lalique fragrance will qualify as "smells more expensive than it is".
from all you have presented here only the bentley is cheapy in Europe, the other ones are in high end price category up from 70 Euroes, jungle 45 Euroes
I love Dunhill Icon Elite and is one of my winter favorites. Z Zegna old school bottle from 2005 was a epic "10" fragrance. I recently purchased the Z Zegna classico bottle and its close to the same formula as the 2005 version but still a little off. I give it a "7"
Dunhil icon for me a modern masterpiece gorgeous drydown Another one is encre noire this two, that i experienced are really smell way more expensive than they are, if they are under any niche label people will pay hundreds for them
Amazing production. Best I've seen in the fragrance community. Both of you are really pleasant to listen to and I'm glad you don't go on about 'compliment beasts' and all this other shit you see everywhere.
02:49 Booze and cars, especially high performance cars, don't go well together. Top note: grey matter on dashboard, Heart note: bone marrow on driving wheel, Base note: burning rubber tires.
When compared to more expensive fragrances that share the same notes side by side, Dunhill Icon smelled a little too synthetic for me. However, when I sprayed it on while watching this video, it does actually smell more expensive than it is on its own, and I’m surprised.
We get spoiled as our collections get larger. For a general designer, it has some unique notes. A mixing of bight notes like citrus with pepper is a path less traveled for most designers.
@@BaldassarreFragrance you’re right. I’m exploring more less expensive fragrances and these videos help find those gems. I especially love the touch of Neroli now that I gave this another testing. The presentation too makes it compelling for me to add it to my collection.
to me the epitome of a fragrance that smell more expensive than they are is Nautica Voyage. I mean... It doesn't smell particularly expensive, but fore SURE smells like a higher quality designer... At the cost of 10 - 15 dollars.
Teddy, Teddy, Teddy. I’m a huge fan of all of your work, and I probably always will be. Watches, fragrances your video production quality is second to none. Please don’t take this as anything less than constructive criticism but the discount Jay Leno look has to go. It screams ‘My tailor ran out of material so he used an old pair of jeans to make this shirt.’ Should denim ties ever come into fashion I may or may not end up in the intensive care unit. You pull off the sophisticated look much better. I wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors.
Almost all fragrances from Lalique smelled much more expensive than they are. They smell and look niche to me. Bentley fragrance are also manufactured by Lalique. It's one of my favorite house. Lalique pour homme lion edp is another fantastic one that's underrated. I like Encre Noire Sport a lot. I use to hate og Encre Noire but I appreciate it for its darker aspect now and might get a bottle. I hated the extreme the most of the 3 but now I'm ok with it but it's still not a like.
Guys these are not blind buy worthy . These can be off putting . Especially if you have little to no experience with fragrances. Be careful don’t say I didn’t warn you. Try to see if you. Am get a decant or smell them somewhere before you spend alot of money .
Dunhill Icon is a gem. I remember going to a pool party and giving my shirt to my pregnant friend to hold. She couldn’t stop praising how good my shirt smelt. My girlfriend loves it. But, most importantly, I love the wafts of juniper berry and moss that I get from throughout the day. It’s a feel good fragrance.
Bentley intense is sharp as a knife! One morning I sprayed myself, things happened that I had to get in to bus. Man ... I was just waiting to people mob and throw me out.
I bought the Bentley fragrance and tried it for a short time. The smell made me sick to my stomach. It was so bad that I threw out the virtually brand new bottle in the garbage. Horrible! Dunhill Icon I have. It is a nice little addition to my collection. Nothing special but something different and pleasant.
I thought Courtney would hate Icon and EN Sport , cuz I find both very vetiver forward on me and she said she hates vetiver in another video. Im trying to love Bentley Intense, but all I get is very sweet and booze with booze and more BOOZE! LOL.

02:49 Booze and cars, especially high performance cars, don't go well together. Top note: grey matter on dashboard, Heart note: bone marrow on driving wheel, Base note: burning rubber tires.
Encre Noire Sport is fantastic!!! 👍
Damn, this is highest-quality fragrance review I’ve ever seen.
Super nice to see you in the fragrance world, Teddy!
10:33 don't be misguided by the cute Teddy bear bottle this is a very masculine fragance.
to me the epitome of a fragrance that smell more expensive than they are is Nautica Voyage. I mean... It doesn't smell particularly expensive, but fore SURE smells like a higher quality designer... At the cost of 10 - 15 dollars.
Nice to see Kenzo on the list! Kudos nice job! 👍
Lalique pour homme lion is actually my favorite fragrance of all time.
@@fallguy6196 The "poor man's Bois du Portugal". I agree its great.
@@JT-rx1eo got that right "poor man " unfortunately lol.
Dunhill Icon is fresh spicy woody great scent
Check out Jo Malone Vetiver & Golden Vanilla
I haven't worn a cologne since Eau Sauvage in college. You guys might be dragging me into a new hobby!
Be careful it is very addictive
Were you in college in 1966?
Icon is luxury in a bottle and the bottle itself is luxurious as well!
based on this video I blind bought Dunhill Icon, it seem like it's perfec for me, thank you! Valentine discounts everywhere at the moment😍
Hope you enjoy it! I am a fan.
@@BaldassarreFragrance thank you very much!
@@BaldassarreFragrance I got it today and I freakking loooove it! Thank you so much for recommendation!
@@jakobkoprivnik6372 Amazing! Glad the blind purchase worked out! It doesn't always haha.
Guerlain Homme EDP is a pure class in a bottle!!!
Very nice video, good work 🙂👌
Encre Sport was surprisingly light. Good work day fragrance.
Excellent job!
Love the Bentley!!!!!
Got to include Rochas' Moustache in part Two!
After watching almost every single frag channel there is around, yours is absolutely "fresh". Keep up that style.
Really like your channel, it really works ..you two have the others taking notice…..
No issey miyake ? 🥴
Chrome is my favorite cheap cologne
Bentley intense is sharp as a knife! One morning I sprayed myself, things happened that I had to get in to bus. Man ... I was just waiting to people mob and throw me out.
Hi folks. I have Dunhill Icon. It's brilliant, but not terribly long lasting.
Ted Lapidus Poker Face, Trussardi Riflesso, Azzaro Visit, Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme Oud and EDT. El ganso After Game and Bravo Monsieur.
Good review
Icon was so disappointing to me, I really don't get the hype?! Bentley Intense, definitely a divisive scent, not for everyone!
Bentley is under the same parfumer as Lalique. 2 in 1.
I thought Courtney would hate Icon and EN Sport , cuz I find both very vetiver forward on me and she said she hates vetiver in another video. Im trying to love Bentley Intense, but all I get is very sweet and booze with booze and more BOOZE! LOL.
your Videos auf Led Tv are amazing
