Former Stockton Brook Pumping Station
Situated on the Cauldon canal was built for the Staffordshire Potteries Water Board and commissioned in 1884 with a pair of horizontal tandem compound non-rotative Hathorn, Davey 'differential' pumping engines. In 1936 the steam engines were replaced by electric pump sets and a standby diesel generator (DC). There were also rotary converters to convert the incoming AC to DC for the pumps. The station has now been sold privately but still retains some of the machinery. The former boiler house is on the right but the chimney is long gone.

so beautiful to watch with that mesmerising music.. loved the scene at the beginning, first 26 seconds where as you approach the roof, the music building up to a crescendo.. can you sweep around in an arc but keep the camera focussed at a point..
