There's a great deal of things this game has that Smash needs:
- Multiple 'final smashes'
- Turning the stage hazards off
- Movesets more true to the charactets
- Customisable costumes/taunts
- Personality for most characters
- Character specific tutorials and trials.
And being able to use Final Smashes without a ball. Why did they keep that in?

Jair Benitez Why? Why cant it just build up like in Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat? It makes a really cool feature useless when you play for reals.

Some Final Smashes are OHKO if you know what you're doing, especially Sonic's(He's actually the reason Smash Balls got banned in competitive play)
They can scale it, but the way the mechanics are set up for the game to function how it does, that's a big no-go.
Jair Benitez I forgot about sonic's. Its really only op 1v1. Maybe they'll fix it in the next one.

Anyone else think this game needs a second chance in the form of a sequel? If done right, I think a sequel could be done pretty well.
Yeah! Featuring more Sony characters they forgot, like Crash Bandicoot.
Crash isn't a Sony character. He's owned by Activision. In fact, Superbot, and later Santa Monica, tried to get Crash and Spyro in the game, at least as a DLC characters, but Activision, who owns both of them, continuously turned them down. Don't blame the game or the devs. Blame Activision.

Mookal H Due to how poorly it sold, I doubt there will be a sequel, unfortunately. If there was hope for when, then I feel like Sony would’ve most likely at least announced it by now.

I used to think this was a dumb Smash rip-off but now I really wanna experiment.

If you try it, don't go into it with the mindset of smash. Go into it expecting PlayStation All-Stars, as in order to succeed in this game, you must have a different mindset while playing.

Who actually remembers fat princess as a game and how amazing it was?
I know Smash wasn't the first game with the cross over concept, but it was made in a completely different formula, the controls, attacks etc. Allstars is very similar in many ways, the movement controls, the design of levels, the ideas of stage hazards, items from known Sony franchises etc.Those ideas relate to Smash Bros in many ways. I enjoy the game, but it's nothing that can be compared to Smash Bros.

Seeing the fat princess character continuously makes me sad, the classic game was excellent, but the "newer version" is totally different and its own thing, there is also not a place I can find to play this game anymore, does anyone know if there is a way to get this game again?

I absolutely love parappa in this game
Inspiration doesn't mean it s a rip off. A rip off is taking core elements and usign them without change or credit given.
Many of the similar elements have been changed to be original or specific. But the fact that they said they had inspiration is proof they didn't rip it off.
Also Smash isn't the first game series ever to have this style of multi-universe chracter fighting game.
I don't assume you dislike the game, I just want people to be clear it isn't a rip off because its similar.

I will say that the graphics on this game is a little more polished than super smash Bros 4 and after looking at this I really want to try it out lol

Where do you think they got this idea from? A collaboration of Sony characters mashed together in an all out brawl. The fighting style is different though it looks alot like Smash bros just by the way it looks. I'm not saying it's a bad game, they definitely didn't come up with this concept on their own though. On of the staff on an interview even admitted that they had inspiration from Smash Bros their self. Sony isn't the first to do this though.
