- Hey this is XieonHD here and im bringing you some PSASBR Parappa Arcade Mode! :D I hope you like the footage and like, comment and subscribe!

The gameplay is conceptually similar to the Super Smash Bros. series, in which up to four players can battle each other using characters from various Sony franchises such as God of War, PaRappa the Rapper and Sly Cooper, as well as third-party franchises like BioShock. There are, however, differences in how opponents are defeated. During the game, players damage other players to receive orbs that build up a power meter at the bottom of the screen (These orbs can also be found on the stage over the course of the match). Earning enough power allows players to use one of three levels of super moves which can be used to defeat opponents and earn points. The game will feature cross-platform play between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions.
The game features a traditional single-player arcade mode, in which players must defeat several randomly-selected opponents, followed by a character-specific rival battle and, ultimately, a battle against the game's main antagonist and final boss, Polygon Man. Multiplayer modes include time-based matches, where players compete to achieve the most kills within a time limit, stock based matches, where players attempt to be the last one standing, and kill-limit matches, where players compete to be the first to reach a certain number of kills. The game also features a single-player challenge mode, in which players attempt to complete specific objectives.

Then joe chin when in a volcano and found the super fire sword while fighting lava monkeys and then found a super portal to the ice dimension and fought icicle spirits to get the super snow power orb and then transported to the dark dimension to face off against the dark spirit and his minions while avoiding lava and spikes and traps that were all fire type and then joe chin used his massive chin to destroy the dark spirit. (BREATHES)

I still can't believe they took a sweet character like Parappa and put him in a fighting game full of weapons.
Parappa and his world are all about outwitting bullies and overcoming challenges with self-confidence, music, friendship, and happiness in a world full of humor and whimsy; he should never be throwing a punch at someone. Watching Parappa pummel and get pummeled in this game is like watching Kermit the Frog getting his spine ripped out in Mortal Kombat.
Remember non-canon also he is on cool mode aka drug trip

Who cares if he is in a violent game I think he was an excellent addition to the game seeing as he never left his ownership through PlayStation and us basically the sonic the hedgehog of PlayStation all stars and he is the fastest character so they definitely did right by putting him in there. Plus he can definitely compete with most of the competitors in the game

Ownership aside, fighting like this is just not what Parappa or his story is about.
Rob Vincent your basically telling them to remove the rights for what they own. They put characters in this game for the replay value. Taking parappa out would decrease the replay value of the game. They did right putting him in here considering he is my favorite character. If you know parappa you would know he was training with master onion so he was already a fighter long before this game came out. He just believed in what he did and believes he can do anything in his power. So sorry dude your argument is not valid. He's in this game. Nothing you can do about it.

Did anyone else see the shit going on in the background on fight 1? We gat robots destroying town, Master Onion is going after them, then Master Onion becomes a giant and fights a giant robot in the background.

One of the great things about this game (that a lot of people don't give it credit for) is that they have one world invade another in stages. It's really well done and creative!

Ok so, pretty much PaRappa's happy ending is that Joe Chin is missing, probably dead, because he tried to fight in the All-Stars tournament. Now he'll never have to contend with Joe for Sunny's affection. Therefore his reaction is pretty much "let's go to club fun!" Medieval as fuck.

Parappa is arguably one of the best characters in the game so it would have been a bad deal if they left him out! It's no different from snake pawning kirby or ike pawning olimar in smash bros so they did right by putting him in here. Plus he is the fastest and basically like the sonic of PlayStation all stars

All of these serious and honestly kinda frightening characters getting beat up by a rapping 2d dog... That's a bruise to the ego. Also, I wanted Parappa's stage 3 attack to sort of be interactive. The more buttons the player mashes, the more damage they do.
