And it is scientifically proven that China is responsible for the most carbon emissions from all the countries in the world. China also provokes trading conflicts as they try to get an unfaire advantage in the car industry by strongly subventioning their cars so they will be cheaper compared to models from countries like Germany. More over China attacked german entreprises by stealing data to be able to use the information for building their own electrical cars. But it is the government and the egoistic, little regulated capitalism, which produces those problems. With more restrictions and a social factor in the chinese capitalism as in many modern democracys this can be fixed on a long term.

From now on, you're ALL asking ME permission to do EVERYTHING. GOT IT?

I want to be Queen Elizabeth . I miss her. 70 years. Wish she was the Queen of the world. She had to be in a man's world in the 1940's as Princess Air to the thrown. Her Uncle abdicated. And her life changed. So a woman at 25 was Queen of nations. And for 70 years was what a woman with soft power represents. She worked on jeeps. Rode horses. Big time equitation. athletic and a workaholic. So why does any evil get to rise and take over. Evil exists when good men turn away.

If you read history and learn how India was an industrial power 300 years ago and it was reduced to poverty and starvation by the British empire that is estimated to have killed 30+ million people of starvation, and then you see Venezuela and Somalia in the 1980s and Argentina in the 1990s, and Greece in 2010 they moved from being thriving economies to have children that have skeletons, you can see how IMF impoverished them, backed by USA in a game to enrich bondholders for a whole decade and keep them poor so buying power does not spread overseas.
Americans enjoyed a good domestic situation, but it has been sponsored by foreign poverty just like what you think China does by tolerating NK regime.
When you read enough history books, you learn that every side has dirty clothes. There is no absolute good side. If you think there is, it is because you have not read enough history books.

If China invades Taiwan the entire west will be forced to respond. Taiwan manufactures 95% of the sub-5nm semiconductors (Samsung South Korea makes ALL of the rest… Incredibly no manufacturing of advanced semiconductors occurs anywhere else in the world) and this capability would take years to develop elsewhere. These “fabs” as the chip making factories are called, almost all of them owned by a company called TSMC, are considered so vital to the global economy that most Taiwanese policy makers view them as providing protecting for the entire nation from Chinese invasion… They have been correct so far however China wants this capability for itself badly and despite $100 billion plus of government spending trying to develop it China has little to show for it.
They may try to acquire it through invasion however this would be a mistake… Taiwan’s government has claimed the fabs are rigged to self destruct in the event of invasion. Whether this is true or not really doesn’t really matter… They BARELY run at the best of times and require a constant supply of exotic materials and specialized workers from all over the world… If China invaded they would certainly never run again. Like you said though: governments make mistakes all the time and I have never credited communists with an over abundance of intelligence… People think of it as the west gets chips or China gets chips but it turns out there is a third option: nobody gets any chips.

North Korea will be relevant while USA is in conflict. If conflict fades away, the importance of NK fades.
The west always have had double standards. Some people deserve human rights, some do not.
Once it was suggested that Elon Musk fortune could end starvation of the world. UN claimed it could do it. And Elon pointed at an article where UN soldiers asked "adult activities" to kids in exchange for food. In 2010 UN personnel dropped black waters in the river in Haiti and that started cholerae epidemic.
Today what we see is not a war between nations, but between elites, and none of them care about you or me. Nations and politicians are just puppets of these elites.
In the past we, the ordinary people, were told by important people that "change is the only constant" before they made us uncomfortable. World events have evolved to a point where elites and politicians have a stressful time ahead.
If a normal person loses a job, another job can be sought. If the nation is ruined, a normal person can go to another. It is an unpleasant option, but it exists. But for elites, if they cross the line and become enemies of another elite, as they lose, they cannot go across the street to the other elite to ask for power and money. This is why stakes are high. And the future looks stressful for politicians and elites. They will not tell you, but if you are informed enough, you will see how bad it must be in the shoes of these people.
My advice for you is to buy popcorn and enjoy the show. It is true that political flops may hurt us, but they cannot win.

The more equal vs freedom, and it is imperative we get back to that put together government. Censorship in US is not new. During cold war, antinuclear was censored.
The “Daigo Fukuryu Maru” is a wooden deep-sea tuna fishing boat based in Yaizu Port, Shizuoka Prefecture. It was exposed to radiation the hydrogen bomb test conducted by the United States in Bikini Atoll of the Marshall Island on March 1, 1954.
This outraged Japanese citizens who had had a taste of what a nuclear attack was. Support was so high that they created a movie called Godzilla. A fishing boat with the same name encounter Godzilla in deep sea and just like radiation, Godzilla chased all fishermen one by one in the movie, untill all of them were gone, in a movie with heavy antinuclear message.
When the movie went to USA, US censorship changed the movie. It was heavily rewritten in the dubbing and scenes were removed to make the anti nuclear message of Godzilla to disappear. It became just another monster movie.
So the same censorship you see now, was present back then when being antinuclear was not popular for US politics.

IMO, the current failure of the economy of the Middle Kingdom is our best hope to escape a world run by the CCP. If their economy implodes, their ability to bribe and influence the officials of other countries should drop. Those officials will still be crooked, but they won't be getting tilted into specifically Middle Kingdom policies.

@@terryboyer1342 Terry, here again, for all to see, is the complete answer that I gave you three days ago:
      Quote:
Oh Terry, you're "following" me, are you? My motivation is very simple: I think she's conning people. Simple as that. Her most uncritical worshippers afford her an extraordinary level of benefit of the doubt for claims that can be neither proven nor disproven, and slavishly accept anything that spills from her mouth. That kind of behaviour is reminiscent of the reverence of members of a cult towards their cult leader. I think they're bewitched by a combination of "damsel (formerly) in distress", an excessive assumption of wisdom on her part in any matters under the sun on account of her previous life experience, and use of sex appeal. She's been very enterprising in marketing herself as a "package", something that is confirmed by the extensive vanity gallery of pictures of herself as a pin-up girl in the Community section of the channel, and something that is both unnecessary and detracts from her claim to be taken seriously as a "human rights activist". She's not, not really. She's a celebrity escapee (among 33,000+ other escapees from North Korea over the past quarter-century with similarly distressing stories) and a speaking circuit performer - and that's okay. However, I think people should think a little more critically about investing themselves so much in a single individual, no matter how superficially attractive.
Right - you asked, and that's my answer, and I'm not going to get into a cycle with you where you ask six-word question after six-word question and expect that I'm going to spend my time returning a mini-essay response each time, because your questions will not be asked in a spirit of genuine curiosity, but in a spirit of challenge.
      Have a good one.

You are a FOOL. The only Genocide in the middle east is Hamas killing jews. How can you be so stupid as to not see how obvious...HAMAS states their purpose is to eradicate the Jews...dumba$$, that is the definition of genocide...if Isreal wanted to commit genocide of Palistinians it would have been done in the first day...you are truely a stupid fvck....Palestinian population has doubled in the past years...wow, if Israel's intent is genocide, they are sure are terrible at it since the Palestinian population is exploding...you're ignorant as fvck.

And you ingore what China is doing. Like bullying the Philippines, constantly sending their war ships around Taiwan. China is in Africa bribing Countries and taking land. You think its just the Americans who do bad stuff.
You point all that out ahile ignoring what China and Russia is doing. Yet im sure you never knew that US, Russia and China are all on the UNSC which controls world security and yet you blame just the Americans.
