We take a look at a host of preserved Hudswell Clarke locomotives.
We start off with Lord Mayor, preserved as a static exhibit by the Vintage Carriages Trust at Ingrow, during a visit to the Middleton Railway for a line up of the three VCT steam locomotives. The second locomotive featured is also on static display, in the form of Hawarden at Penrhyn Castle.
Next we take a look at the odd one out in this collection, a locomotive which passed into Great Western Railway ownership. Port Talbot Railway Number 26, later GWR No. 813 and then Backworth Collieries Number 12. We see GWR 813 at the Severn Valley Railway, East Lancashire Railway and Tanfield Railway.
Manchester Ship Canals No. 32 Gothenburg, is captured in steam at home on the East Lancashire Railway and during a visit to the Tanfield Railway.
Hudswell Clarke No. 750, 'Waleswood' is captured at the Chasewater Railway during early 2020, before we return Penrhyn Castle to see Vestra, before moving to the north east to see 0-6-0T Richboro.
We visit the exhibition hall at the Middleton Railway next to see Henry De Lacy II and Mirvale, before moving to Bolton Abbey station to see Hudswell Clarke 1450. Derek Crouch is captured around the turntable at Wansford on the Nene Valley Railway.
Works No. 1704 Nunlow is owned by the Bahamas Locomotive Society. We see the locomotive is operation of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
Works No. 1732 Jennifer is owned by the Llangollen Railway Trust and is seen on a rare occasion when she ran on her home line.
We briefly see Millom on display at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
NCB 140, based at Embsay, is seen visiting the East Lancashire Railway for their 20th Anniversary Weekend.
Moving to Narrow Gauge, we take a look at Works No. 1056 CSR No. Ltd No. 19 in Minffordd yard, Works No. 1172 Alpha at the West Lancashire Light Railway and a pair of 0-6-0WT Works No. 1238 & Works No. 1643 GP39 Bronllwyd at the Apedale Valley Light Railway, Threlkeld Quarry & West Lancashire Light Railway.
This video is part of a special Industrials on Saturday series, premiering in July 2020.

Not an engine I've manage to see yet, hoping to catch her at Statfold Barn when things are getting back to normal
