disposable laptop. the processor cannot be replaced, the memory is 1 die, because of this it works in single-channel mode so 2 times slower; the cooling is thin, which immediately bends, it can be seen on the video and it’s the same for me, the processor is stripped down, the hard drive is hybrid - they would have installed an ssd right away. in the bios there is a Windows license type info and by default uefi is used to boot only native Windows; half of the laptop is a battery. a typical example of a laptop for a modern consumer.

Hi Mate, it seems you know what you are talking about. I am using this machine and I love it, however, I can't deny that it is showing its age. Can you please suggest if a RAM upgrade is possible on this. I have 8GB installed and the processor is i7-4500U @1.80-2.40 GHz. It comes with a hybrid 500GB HDD with 8GB SSD. Should I upgrade it to 500GB SSD itself. Lets say with a 500GB SSD upgrade and RAM upgrade to 16GB (if possible) would it be significantly better or am I just burning money with upgrades? I would really appreciate a response.

@@maestro8766 Such laptop has DDR3l so-dimm memory and I can only find 8gb in stock. It has only one piece for it. The processor is not changeable. Hybrid HDD is the slowest part here. You can leave your hard as a second disk. I have bought m.2 2242 Chinese SSD "Kingchuxing")) for the system and cloned the hard disk using Acronis true image, it worked fine, and I gave this laptop to a friend as a gift. The time for such ships has passed.

@@mcserg84 thanks a ton mate, but how did you got an M2 SSD here, I guess only connection it can take is SATA, given the fact I am using SSHD at the moment.

@@maestro8766 Look at the video at 01:54, there is the M2 socket between the CPU and USB. I had the same. So I inserted an SSD and left HDD as the second disk, turn off EFI boot in BIOS, selected USB then SSD as the primary sources, booted Acronis and just copied the partition here
