Jamaica is definitely in a building boom. New houses and highways all over the place. However, the government seems to be neglecting the existing roadways. The existing roads were poorly designed with no drains, making them easily damaged during the rainy seasons. Very impressive the new structures, but we need to maintain the existing roads left generations ago by the British.

it will be very difficult for the pnp to convince jamaicans to overlook the govt given development like these!

Believe, these days many Jamaican are used to poverty and have a poor mindset, they rather old than new, especially those in the ghetto, are used to such standards of living until they didn’t know these developments are actually for them, I think once Jamaican in the ghetto start to get used to better things in life, e.g good infrastructure, they will start to be grateful gradually.

Look at the bright side, St Thomas retained its Jamaicaness, has some of the biggest houses, is one of the safest parish, has access to its beaches and rivers, above many other things. I would not vote for neither parties but this government, even though their intentions are to capture the parts of st thomas closest to Kingston, is still doing way more than than both Seaga, Portia and Pj combined.

We need people looking to build Jamaica and join the workforce, as well as open businesses, not people looking to use it as a cemetery after building another country.
