    Glad I’m not the only one who gets frustrated and has to improvise mid-build! Watching some of these “pro” RUclips builders makes me think they get everything right the first time. Thanks for sharing ALL your experiences!

      Right?!?!?
      Its definitely tempting to make it look like everything went according to plan,
      would be disingenuous though

    I really like the concept. And yes, walking away for a bit is perfectly fine.

      I also enjoyed it, My favorite part is weirdly the bricks I was able to make.
      Walking away has save more than one of my projects, :D

    bro, this is such a creative idea. A better showcase of the end result would have been nice. also it was kind of refreshing too see someone without complete festool gear and a sick workshop building stuff. i can relate to that way more. all the best for you 💯💯😂👌👍

    • @thewannabecraftsman
      @thewannabecraftsman  Год назад +1

      You are 1100% correct, I don't know why I didn't think to do a lil showcase at the end of it, haha. In my head I was thinking "they saw enough of it, its in the thumbnail of the other one and in the intro, blablablah"
      All my festool gear is in my OTHER shop, I was just slummin it. 😂

      Awesome!
      I can't recommend enough NOT cleaning a mirror that was used on a bathroom wall and cutting it down to size....

      I literally came up with that idea day of. they sell faux brick walls sheeting for like 60 bucks....
      Didn't want to spend any money on this.
      Necessity is the mother of invention I hear...

    I spoke too soon about you cutting glass in part 1. Sorry.
    I agree with you about the satisfaction of using hand tools.
    Hope to see more videos from you.

    • @thewannabecraftsman
      @thewannabecraftsman  Год назад +1

      nothing to apologize for, you didn't screw up the glass cutting, that was all on me :D
      It's a lesson learned and at least it was a lesson learned on free material without blood being spilt, I'll take it!
      the hand tools was something I was not expecting, very satisfying for how much longer it takes, thinking of doing a hand tool only build for something in the future, just haven't figured out what yet.
      Thanks!

      @@thewannabecraftsman oh, I knew that I had not jinxed you. I was watching these back to back
      Initially, hand tools are a bit slower. With a bit of practice (often resulting in extra kindling for the fire), it becomes pretty fast.
      Hope to keep seeing your videos

    i don't understand why everyone wants to make the inside of their mine shaft look like the inside of a chimney with lights, horizontal or vertical, the walls inside mine shafts are rock.........

    • @thewannabecraftsman
      @thewannabecraftsman  2 месяца назад +1

      there is only so many things you can make the inside of a square table look like going on for infinity
      And some mine shafts do us brick walls.
      Short answer though- its easier than anything else
