I actually never fully understood why this went out of style. Sure, aggressive setter dumps and huge opposite hitters jumping from behind the 3m line have their strengths too or make up for weaknesses but the sheer fact the setter never has to block and can fully concentrate on his setting. Apart from that, having 3 front row attackers running quicks and combinations every single play is just something beautiful.
UCLA mens team played a 6-2, 2/3 years ago. As someone who plays opposite and DS, I love playing 6-2 to work on setting and decision making skills, especially if there is no Libero. My favorite "underhand" server is back. The second set should be sub-titled, "shady dumps". LOL
I'm so used to it that I couldn't make a transition if I played indoors. Kinda like starting off on skis, getting good at it and then transitioning to snowboard.
That one hand set was cold 2:10
That last shot was truly amazing the set was a tempo faster but you still manage to get your hands on it full blast...i would've hit the net for sure

I think it’s because it requires your setters to hit and most setters are usually snaller players
Not possible to do at pro level with current sub rules.
@@Narium413 what's the problem with the rules?
Atom you cant sub out the setters everytime they reach to the front row
I feel for the guy at 1:20. I'm known as the guy who gets hit in the head all the time. It has to happen at least every practice.

What happened to this style of rotation? Why does no one run this anymore?
1:49 celebration 🤣
OMG, I didn't know Cris set. LOl
Some of your teammates are lazy. Could not pass, could no dig the ball.
Open gym. Saw some missed blocking assignments and a noticeable skill difference between players.
