- On March 8, 2024, Dimitri Lascaris reported from the Grand Husseini Mosque in Amman, Jordan. There, following Friday prayer, thousands of protesters took to the streets to denounce Israel's genocidal war on Palestinians. This was the 23rd consecutive Friday on which worshippers protested for Palestine at the Grand Husseini Mosque.

Truly interesting. Singing, and chants. The chants even have a singing quality to them. I have seen in many many protests from marches to union picket lines to the modern just stop oil 1p protester protests.
This protest in Jordan...it is very different. It is very respectful, there is the Palestinian content, state their position repeating back and forth.
To be honest I have never ever heard a protest like this. I don't speak or need to speak Arabic to state this.
THIS protest, the timbre the tone, it is very respectful here's my point if view I'm expressing it, peacefully.
Every protest I have seen in the west hast a undertone of Anger in the chants the tone of voices.
Amazing it is a almost melodic march here kids are there and there is no fear or risk to them being there, unlike protests in the West.
