We can't accept Trump's number of 1.5 million people in Gaza at face value. The number of deaths is not determined yet and presuming its 800,000 is not yet borne out by verifiable facts. He throws out whatever comes into his head and probably wanted to downplay the number to be moved. Sociopaths don't care about the numbers killed by US weapons.

I think it's the noise cancelling of your microphone activated because you are listening to the other person over open speakers. Perhaps you should mute your mic when you are not speaking (or you could use headphones). Sorry, I wasn't going to comment but at times it makes the guest speaker hard to understand.

Myanmar expelled well over a million people in a matter of weeks. I know this because my country received them. How did they do it? They firebombed and genocided them but they left an opening towards our border so everyone ran out for their lives; all the rhetoric about land and heritage goes away when you need to save your parents' or children's lives. In Gaza's case they had nowhere to go. Even if Israel opened the crossing with Egypt (which they didn't), Egypt closed it on their side and still, those that could afford to pay the bribes all left. Gaza today is totally unlivable and to some extent it is utterly inhumane to leave them there. There will be starvation, there will be disease and now that the active bombing has stopped, it will fall out of the news cycle as it always does. If you want 1.5 million Gazans to leave - don't offer them a tent city. Offer them a real city, build one for them with parks, schools, hospitals, civic ameneties. It won't even cost that much or rather it'll be cheap at the price. And yes, they will leave or at least enough of them will. They will take a handful of soil, a twig from their olive tree and the key to their front door but they will leave because they need to survive.
