I will just add my own thoughts on Halloween as it's my favourite franchise. The original is my favourite movie, 4 and 2 are in my top 20 films and 3, 6 and 5 are in my top 100 films. The only 2 films of the franchise i don't like are Resurrection and Rob Zombie's Halloween 2.

Jeepers Creepers should have been on the list. Such a unique movie, and made me paranoid for days after seeing the first two as kid, me living in rural Oklahoma. I also think the Dead series by George Romero should have been on here.
I'm sorry about Halloween is a definite A to S. The only bad films are 5, 6, and Resurrection. The remakes aren't bad watches as a whole but they might not be great halloween films and the new 2018 film was kickass.

Another great video with more insight to your tastes. I'm very interested to see what can make your "S" category though. I must be extremely forgiving but I'd have Nightmare, Halloween, Friday, Saw, Jaws and Texas, all of them, in S category. I've rewatched all of these so many times I couldn't count. Are there a few in the series that fell short, sure, but overall those are behemoths of the genre so if they're not S, then I can't wait to see what else you put in there. I will admit I love the horror genre so much, I grade them on a curve. Most of these will have very varied responses/placement but those are pillars and love every entry very much for their own reasons. Can't wait for vol. 2 of this series.

I’m ashamed to say I just watched Hellraiser and I absolutely loved the first one Hellraiser 2 was pretty good and I haven’t seen the rest but hear the new remake is really solid!

Part 2 is pretty good sequel . Halloween 4 was a good comeback. After that they get unwatchable. Like so bad it's insulting. I can't even have fun at all. 5 ,6 and resurrection piss me off !! As far as the 2nd installations being better; not the case with Friday The 13th & Nightmare on Elm Street. However part 3 of both of those series is better than the first 2 movies. In my opinion
Tremors should have been a B it was just as good as saw and Final Destination, the only thing Saw had over was one movie that was extremely high quality Chucky only has one bad movie of the original series
IDK I think Tremors is a solid B. Don't hate me I don't really care for Jaws or Scream, but being more objective than my dislike you're probably right. Freddy and Jason 100% agree. I think Chucky is a solid B+, even the entries I really didn't like were something. I also really liked Bride, for all it faults, so I guess take that with a grain of salt? I do feel like the whole Michael Meyers is supernatural turn did hurt it honestly in some ways and helped it in others. Just because it kinda explained how he kept on ticking, but that's the only way I think it kinda helped. Because before I was like this is good and all, but there's no way that this works. I don't usually overanalyze quite that bad/that extent/that way (if I do it's for fun and doesn't end up ruining anything for me, because I usually like puzzling how things work and can suspend disbelief enough to come up with something satisfying), but for some reason... IDK sat weird with me. But it also hurt the real creep factor in every other way for me. Which is weird, because I'm usually all over that kind of thing? I just didn't like it there. Also I swore Jaime said it wasn't influential too, so don't feel bad lol.
When you add more franchises in later videos, will you consider moving previous ones around a bit or is it set in stone? Seeing them all side by side like that might put some early ones into perspective. Btw, I might have put Saw in the A category. I personally just love those moments that are so disturbing they make you cringe. That needle scene is so memorable
Saw is the greatest horror franchise ever. It's not even really close. Most of thr Halloween and Friday the 13th movies are pretty terrible of we're being honest. Nightmare on elm Street and hellraiser franchises are both far better than Halloween and Friday the 13th. I know horror fans feel like they have to say they love Halloween and Friday the 13th. But let's be honest. Most are just awful.

Awesome video. Really enjoyed it. Ill be that guy though. You absolutely cannot put Scream! Above Halloween. Just on influence and being the original other than Black Christmas, no way. The first two films i would argue but definitely the first alone make this franchise an S easily. You guys crap on Halloween too much. I know you all might not care for it, but your ignoring the fact that 98 percent of the horror population holds it in there minimum top 5. Thats just wrong.

I enjoyed this until you got to ranking the last few. Halloween is the only film (aside from maybe Jaws) that’s actually preserved by the library of Congress! I realize a couple of the sequels don’t stand up, but all of the Friday movies are the same and Freddy isn’t scary at all. Halloween at least tried to follow a story all the way through. The greatness of the first one alone should put it at an S. All that being said, I’m looking forward to another one.

eh, I’m not a big fan of H20 or RZ Halloween 1, besides Halloween 1 & 3 all the others are just meh, besides the bad ones that you and I mentioned.

I enjoyed this until you got to ranking the last few. Halloween is the only film (aside from maybe Jaws) that’s actually preserved by the library of Congress! I realize a couple of the sequels don’t stand up, but all of the Friday movies are the same and Freddy isn’t scary at all. Halloween at least tried to follow a story all the way through. The greatness of the first one alone should put it at an S.
All that being said, I’m looking forward to another one.

Lol freddy is a S? 2, 3, 4, 5 were all pretty bad films. Only the first, new nightmare and FvJ are rewatchable to me.
