Take it easy Ted. I am used to the fact that only a small group of viewers can appreciate my recordings, so I publish it for them. The rest of them watch me systematically, but leave no likes or subscriptions. But I already got used to this fact 😉

How many dams do you dismantle a day🤓. This is literally back breaking work and you do such an excellent thorough job. I love the serenity of your channel. No other sound than that of the rippling water and some pieces of wood breaking. 👍🏽🙏🏽 thank you for sharing.
As for the amount removed there, it all depends on how long I have the order and whether an excavator can be used in a given place. But on average, I remove three dams by hand, but I also had assignments where I struggled with one for two days. And the excavator is a different story, there were days when we removed even more than ten in one day.
As for talking too much, I don't really like it, especially while working. But I love the sounds of nature :)

Wonderful complete removal! No sticks going downstream to clog in other places! With the water your standing in not moving, could there be another dam downstream?
There is another dam at the bottom of the stream. However, I only had an assignment for this one.

Great job! Keep it up. Here's just a thaught... Dams hold back water that tells me water on one side none on the other. I think maybe a little ways down that steam there may have been another dam that's why there was so much water not moving down the stream. I'm not so sure that water is going to go to far and with the lovely job you did it would be such a bummer.

A beautiful job, I hope it cleared up the farmers land and the road.
After finishing the work, the water level in the meadow dropped significantly, so I suspect that one or two days later it should be dry :)
U also could use the sounds to make relaxing sounds. Sounds relax me

1912 - that is, your grandparents emigrated when Poland was under partitions. So they were really lucky to have succeeded.

The area must have a low threshold for flooding, since there wasn't that much difference in water level....unless there's another blockage downstream?

It was only a job to remove one dam, so it wasn't worth going there with an excavator.
Not a huge dam, but so much damage caused 🦫☹️
The water from this dam flooded a really large area. There is certainly another dam below it, but I cannot remove it without permission.

I think you have to hunt them because the canal is not for them maybe you have to many of this animal!!
There are definitely too many beavers in Poland, but they are under protection. And the regulations are so strict that hardly ever are permits issued for hunting beavers. But I am not a hunter, so it is not my duty.
