i'm asking about the all new tucson 4th gen , i'm worry about dry dct gear on 1.6 L turbocharged , Is it the same as the previous transmission in the third generation or is it a new one ?
Thanks for watching Amir .. We only had the dual clutch transmission in this country on the diesel previously.. This is the first time we have it on a gasoline powered car.. Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to your question on a global basis as to whether it’s different from the third generation, I can definitely try to find out if you like, what country are you based in?
@@doolanbrian thanks for ur reply I'm from Egypt, The dealer here only imports the 1.6 Turbo version The problem is that the most car owners had a problem with the dry transmission after 20000 km , and the clutch was changed after the car had stopped in maintenance for a while, I searched on the Internet and it turned out that it is a global problem with this transmission Everyone is asking now if the new generation has the same transmission.
@@amiryosef8 unfortunately we are unfamiliar with the previous petrol version in dual clutch transmission, it was never sold in this country, we had the diesel with dual clutch transmission but we had no issues with it so I’d imagine it was different to the one you are talking about .. do Hyundai I have a head office in Egypt?? They would be the best people to ask!
With your permission, I wanted to know the Tusan 1600, which was raised by the dct gearbox. 7 clutch shifts have problems and you don't have any problems, and which category is the best in the new Tusan?
Thanks for watching !! We have had no DCT problems at our dealership , but I will admit we most sell manual so maybe that’s why we haven’t seen problems , are you aware of issues ?? 🙂🙂
It’s hard to comment on suspension as everyone has different opinions but it is quite similar to the previous model in that respect if that makes sense?
In Ireland 🇮🇪 no , but in other parts of the world 🌎 yes 👍, we do have the option to fit it in Ireland as an accessory if the customer wants it . Thank you for watching !!!
Thanks for watching .. ok so we are a hyundai dealer with a business that is in operation since 1951 , we are Hyundai since 2004 , we sold Toyota , BMW , VW , Hillman, Lexus over those previous decades
I don’t know if I would buy it over the diesel, depends on the motivation, hybrid is the only option if you want automatic , so I guess the way I would say it, if you want an automatic car with lots of power, then go hybrid, if on the other hand you are looking for bang for buck, the diesel will probably still be the better option, it is about €3500 less to buy and on average it will probably be slightly more efficient in terms of fuel consumption, The paddle shifters are standard on the hybrid one, And in fairness they actually work well, but I think that’s because the gearbox is a dual clutch transmission so it shifts quickly, Hope that makes sense! Thanks for watching and thanks for getting involved!
@@doolanbrian So u mean can we use only battery if we want or for some time we use battery and rest can we use fuel.. Will it work that way ??? The mileage will be higher compared to normal cars ??

Thanks for watching ! Ok it keeps alternating alternating between both modes so i think on an EV mode it is really only going to cover about 1-2kms max. I haven't driven it enough yet but i think it will spend most of its time in a more dual power mode with fuel and electricity !

Prefer the 2019 version... this is a little too much for me. Do like the full digital driver panel though
Thanks for watching Alex, I have another video coming soon with the executive plus version, I think a lot of people may prefer this as it has nice headlights and nice tail lights and nice wheels and a bigger centre screen, but it has to be said , The 2019 is a fine car and will remain so for quite some time
hi friend, I am from the USA. you speak to fast and your accent make it even harder to understand you some times. now, i have the 2020 tucson 3600 miles so far and the only problem i have with this automobile is that, it's a gas guzzlers (an automobile with high fuel consumption) i get between 18 to 19 in the city and 22 combine. I am hoping to trade it for 2021 tucson with better fuel consumption.
i like the change hyundai did with the 2021 except for the shift knob. i do not like electronic push button shift knobs.
Sorry you couldn’t understand me, you have an engine that we don’t get in this country, we normally had diesel until now, I wonder if you guys get the hybrid? Thanks for watching!
do internet need to be paid monthly
Will Hyundai launch this in India?
Hi .. 👋 thanks for watching .. unfortunately I don’t know if this version will cone to India 🇮🇳 , sorry I couldn’t help better 😊
i'm asking about the all new tucson 4th gen , i'm worry about dry dct gear on 1.6 L turbocharged , Is it the same as the previous transmission in the third generation or is it a new one ?
Thanks for watching Amir .. We only had the dual clutch transmission in this country on the diesel previously.. This is the first time we have it on a gasoline powered car.. Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to your question on a global basis as to whether it’s different from the third generation, I can definitely try to find out if you like, what country are you based in?
@@doolanbrian
thanks for ur reply
I'm from Egypt,
The dealer here only imports the 1.6 Turbo version
The problem is that the most car owners had a problem with the dry transmission after 20000 km , and the clutch was changed after the car had stopped in maintenance for a while, I searched on the Internet and it turned out that it is a global problem with this transmission
Everyone is asking now if the new generation has the same transmission.
you may be better off telling us your height for us to estimate the size of the cabin.
Hey John, sorry I’m 6 ft , hope that helps ! Thanks for watching !!
the rear mirror does not have camera?
Old version is 10 times more beautiful...
Ok Marc thanks for watching !
Thankyou. I found you spoke toooooo fast ! Very informative review
Thanks for watching Mike I’ll try to slow down in future 🙂
nobody ck materials in the back...neither middle seat in the back...neither suspention for soft ride
It’s hard to comment on suspension as everyone has different opinions but it is quite similar to the previous model in that respect if that makes sense?
Hi can I ask if it is equipped with a power tailgate? Also, is there rear aircon vents?
In Ireland 🇮🇪 no , but in other parts of the world 🌎 yes 👍, we do have the option to fit it in Ireland as an accessory if the customer wants it . Thank you for watching !!!
Sorry no rear ventilation in ireland 🇮🇪 but maybe in other countries 🙂👍
@@doolanbrian Thanks for the prompt reply. Awesome review you've done.

Would you be able to provide some insights on the fuel consumption.

How could you be a Hyundai dealer in operation for 70 years?! Hyundai hasn't sold vehicles in Ireland for even half that time.
Thanks for watching .. ok so we are a hyundai dealer with a business that is in operation since 1951 , we are Hyundai since 2004 , we sold Toyota , BMW , VW , Hillman, Lexus over those previous decades
The family garage is in operation for 70 years he never said they were a Hyundai garage for 70 years !!
@@DaBriars maybe he didn’t understand my accent 🙂👌
So petrol hybrid over diseal would you say ?
How do you find the peddle shifters?
They standard in the petrol hybrid model ?
@@doolanbrian thank you for the answer bud and so clear

Hey Mick, thanks for watching, key start for comfort and exec models and keyless for the executive plus model 🙂

battery warranty?
Good question, eight years or 160,000 km in this country!
Slow down, you’ll give yourself a heart attack talking that fast. Good vid though.

What does Hybrid means... what is this Hybrid + Fuel ??
It has petrol and it has a battery 🙂 so both power sources can drive the car but they usually work together to drive it 🙂
@@doolanbrian So u mean can we use only battery if we want or for some time we use battery and rest can we use fuel.. Will it work that way ??? The mileage will be higher compared to normal cars ??
@@saichandra3478 As an example say if you were cruising at 80 km/h, the car will drive in battery mode for approximately 30 to 40 seconds, and then for about three minutes it will drive with battery and petrol engine running at the same time, and then it will be battery only for another 30 seconds, and then it will be battery and fuel again for another three minutes , It keeps going in a repetitive cycle, does that make sense?
@@doolanbrian Hmmmm yaa seems to be nice... thanks for the infoand answering the questions BTW nice video 🙂
Mpg?
We estimate that it is going to be approximately 50 mpg or so but we have not test driven the car far enough yet to confirm!
What colour is?
Thanks for watching and engaging ! This colour is called TEAL ! Hope that helps !
What the going price !!
Hey Jezza ! Thanks for watching ! This one is €40750 in ireland 🙂
@@doolanbrian 40,000??? Passsssss!
Hi, how many km it goes purely on battery? thanks
Thanks for watching ! Ok it keeps alternating alternating between both modes so i think on an EV mode it is really only going to cover about 1-2kms max. I haven't driven it enough yet but i think it will spend most of its time in a more dual power mode with fuel and electricity !
31.3L per 100km? it's something wrong?
@@Andrew_lau The car we have is getting a thrashing so it not really doing much economical driving ! 🙂 I did a 20km drive and reset the computer and I ended up at 5.3 l/100 km but admittedly the drive was under 100kmh... we have no official figures yet .. i do have some experience on these style of vehicles with our Kona hybrid and also Honda CR-V 2.0 hybrid 184 Bhp so I reckon there will be a few people who will really engage with it and end up 5-5.5 l/100kms but I think most people will end up at 6-6.5 l/100kms... does that make sense ?
Tyre 'Immobility' Kit should be called.
Typical car salesman.
Hey Gerry , I’m showing people what’s in the car , a wheel would be better but we don’t have it as an option in Hybrid , the diesel one will have a wheel I believe , waiting to see a diesel , hopefully this week , thanks for watching
What language are you speaking?
Is it that bad ??? :)
Europe gets the shorter version (4,5m) (USA 4,63m) and that's going to stir a lot o buyers away from this car
Thanks for watching i never realised there was a longer wheel base in USA !
Why do you think so? Did you wanted a different size?
@@markmd9 Thanks for watching !! Sorry i don't understand the question ?
20 mm longer make it a much bigger car? Do you know what 20 mm is? That's 2 fingers
Hi Tony , thanks for watching , thats right its 2 cm , but the layout of the vehicle also lends its self to being more spacious. Next time you are near a Hyundai dealer pop in and check them out to see what i mean :)
