+Catt Vaughn I actually don't use any. I don't like having a jar of toxic stuff in my studio so I learned to not use it. On the rare occasion I do out and tiny bit in to my medium I use gamsolv. Hope that helps.

One question: do you use thinners like turpentine or complex mediums like liquin to get a the consistency you want? (personally I just keep a little oil next to my palette, as I don't like solvents most of the time)
