PLEASE NOTE: This video is not to bash Chuck E. Cheese in any way. I am simply creating awareness for the 3-Stage as its days, like all other animatronic shows, are numbered.
I do not back any facts in this video that are proven to be untrue. If any mistakes have been made, please let me know below. This video is meant for educational, and entertainment purposes, and nothing more. :)

@@704branding 10 minutes The Rock-afire Explosion was an animatronic character band that appeared in ShowBiz Pizza Place restaurants from 1980 to 1992. Since 1987,[1] independent companies and individuals have operated the show and one can still view the show in various locations around the world to this day. The band's characters were various anthropomorphized animals, including a brown bear, a grey wolf and a silverback gorilla.[2] They performed medleys of classic rock, pop, and country music, as well as original compositions and comedic skits.[3]
The show was designed and manufactured by inventor Aaron Fechter, engineer Greg King and artist Dave Thomas [4] through Fechter's company Creative Engineering, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. In addition to overseeing the production of the animatronics, Fechter provided several of the characters' voices. When ShowBiz Pizza rebranded in 1992, the band was replaced by Chuck E. Cheese characters.[5] The Rock-afire Explosion show was sold to other restaurants and entertainment centers such as Circus Pizza, Pistol Pete's Pizza, and Billy Bob's Wonderland.
The show was pioneering, in many respects, to other animatronics shows of the early 1980s. The life-sized characters were capable of facial expression, and some could even play simple melodies on musical instruments. At the end of the show's tenure, Chuck E. Cheese marketing director Jul Kamen credited Rock-afire with being largely responsible for Showbiz's success

Hopefully we can keep a few 3-Stages for the next generation, but honestly, what I really want, and I don't know if anyone else wants it, is maybe a more mature store with the 3-Stage mechs, kind of like a Dave and Busters with a mature show.

Honestly couldn’t agree more. I’ve been saying for a while that CEC should do this, and so have others in the community. Having a nostalgia based store using one of the alleged sets of animatronics they have saved at the warehouse would be an absolutely brilliant idea. Sadly though I feel that the chances of that happening are slim to none.

Great video! I'm glad someone made a video specifically to raise awareness of this, as I would love to see a 3 stage saved. A few things I do want to say though.
    1. Huntsville's stage was supposedly sent to the SPT Distribution Center, though as you said I don't know exactly where that info comes from. Apparently the tech who worked on the show did say the show would be saved so it would make sense for it to have been saved since a few other stages/stage parts have been saved and stored at the distribution center.
    2. A petition was actually made for Pineville's 3 Stage and it got over 150 people who signed it. The petition was ended because the person who made the petition supposedly works at the Concord location in NC (which is under the same district as Pineville) and said their district manager confirmed it would be saved. I also saw someone else who said they talked with an employee and they said the show would be saved. Whether or not these are true is something we'll have to see once the store remodels (I will say though, I believe this same kind of rumor talk was happening with Northridge and look how that turned out), but I do think if only one 3 stage gets saved, it'll be this one, not just because of its condition being the best of the remaining ones but also because it seems to be quite popular with how much attention its garnered in the past couple of years ever since it started getting worked on by the new tech there.
    3. Your editing is great! What software do you use to edit these videos? I've been looking to upgrade the quality of the editing in my videos so I'm interested in hearing what you use.
Also, I think we should probably use the hashtag #savepineville3stage since that's what Sets, Streets & Eats started and I think we should be consistent with the hashtag we use so we spread more awareness.

    • @nicholaskania9106

Yeah, I heard about the petition thing. It even says on the petition site that the 160+ people who signed contributed to the success of saving Pineville. It had something to do with the district manager informing her of this.

      @BeachKai  10 месяцев назад +1

Yeah, that screenshot at 5:54 is from the Huntsville Page on Cheese-E-Pedia. Though from doing digging on subreddits and other locations I see a handful of comments that "claim" to come directly from Kirt about how they were either A. Sent to SPT or B. Destroyed, so I can't say which is fact and which is fiction. That's why I said the status is uncertain.
As for my editing software, I use Sony Vegas and have been for the past 8 or so years that i've done video editing. Unfortunately it's not cheap and it's a subscription based program, but I have been lucky enough to have a copy from working in TV Production during my previous High School years. You can find editing software such as Capcut or DaVinci resolve that function similar to vegas and are free, but DaVinci is definitely more of a learning curve as it's geared towards more professional editing styles, which is why I don't use it. Vegas is the most user-friendly interface to use but it comes with it's drawbacks. It's all about finding an editing software that doesn't break the bank for you and is the most convenient for you. Best of luck in your search.
Appreciate your comment and also agree with your support! Here's to hoping a stage gets saved.

Tallahassee's Tech wants to restore the stage, but because of the lack of parts and higher demand for the games to be fixed (due to the obvious lack of parts for the bots...) it's caused them to fall into disrepair. He does his best with what he has, and we have to respect that.
I personally would love to see it survive because it's basically the only 3-Stage store remaining that gave off the same vibe as Northridge did. Still has showroom walls and everything. But all of that is probably gonna go once they remodel, so I have no clue.

They probably won’t be saving 3 stages due to the fact they didn’t make it their selves and don’t have parts to maintain them and if they where to buy parts they would be to much money which could drive them into financial trouble over than with the 3 stages it’s already enough money to run it

    • @BeachKai
      @BeachKai  10 месяцев назад +3

I disagree, with that logic Northridge's show would fall into disrepair after a year or whenever all of the cyberamic shows are gone. If the statement that SPT HAS 3-Stage bots in their facility is true, chances are they will just pull parts from them and use them for whatever stage is saved. Plus, most cylinders and mac valves on the CEI bots can be rebuilt, only the clippard cylinders or the CEC-built replacements can't be rebuilt.
With that being said, I have a feeling northridge's show is going to actually be funded by CEC for maintenance, as It would make zero sense for them to save the stage and not try and keep it in good shape, since the entire appeal of that store is that it's a "retro store" now.
Time will tell, because at this point, we don't even know if CEC is going to actually save a 3-Stage.

Now I'm 19 and a few years from being able to maybe do said vacation. Sadly the threestages are gone mostly now and it just breaks my heart when I watch their old performances here on RUclips. My parents even got me an offical Chuck. E. plush from a restaurant on ebay for my birthday one year. R.I.P. to all the animatronic shows we've lost. Let's hope they'll maybe have some sort of comeback or can be partially saved.
PS. I know this is ridiculously wishful thinking and basically impossible, but wouldn't it be Awesome to get an additional threestage in the Northridge location? Would help it be a museum. I share so many of your thoughts. While I’m appreciative of the fact that Chuck E. Cheese plans to keep at least one stage, I think it would be a terrible decision and mistake to keep just one. Many of us fans (and just regular customers who want their kids to experience the animatronics, etc.) live nowhere NEAR Northridge. I’m actually a North Carolinian, so I’d be so pleased if Pineville’s stage was kept. I feel that the company should at least have one West Coast and one East Coast band saved just for practicality. This is wishful thinking, but more than anything, I desperately hope that CEC will save at least one Studio C stage, especially an alpha stage. I grew up going to Fayetteville, NC’s Chuck E. Cheese, and they had a Studio C alpha that was recently removed. It honestly devestated me more than it probably should, but the Studio C bot was just such a huge part of my childhood and my birthdays. The fact that even the general public is starting to speak out and it’s not just us fans anymore speaks volumes as to how important it is for CEC to save more of their animatronics and keep the 90s/early 2000s aesthetic at least at *some* of their locations. #savepineville #savestudioc

I think to really seal the deal, saving one of their best kept 32M Studio C bots in the Midwest would be the best option. You have Cyberamics on the west coast, Studio C in the Midwest, and a 3 Stage on the east coast. All perfect places to house each set of unique history, and in addition, all potential tourist traps for CEC entertainment to capitalize on. It’s a stark contrast to having almost 100+ shows to maintain and makes a ton of sense from a business standing.

The 3 stage at my childhood cec is no longer there. I feel stupid for this, but I actually cried when I found out. Even though I was scared of them for most of my childhood, I'm still really gonna miss them. Especially now that I'm really into animatronics.

@@BeachKai West De Moines was a great stage, the biggest drawback for me was that it had a Cyberamic organ which doesn't fit with the CEI bots. It's possible that SPT could have a stash of CEI organs but who knows if they would've taken the time to fix that. It is a shame they didn't save Huntsville's PizzaCam, because that is the one thing that Pineville is missing and if they added that it would have everything and perfect for saving.

I do believe that the people in charge of the 3-stage take very good care of these animatronics specifically, as they are in great working condition. The functional building and moon mechs look just as good as they were back when Concept Unification took place. Also the only one (I think?) where a Munch Jr appears, bobbing up and down sometimes. Even though it will eventually get the 2.0 remodel, I personally think that the removal of the 3-stage would be a really bad idea, as the great care taken by the people in charge of these animatronics would be wasted, and there will be much disappointment and possibly outrage.

You know what I got the best idea Chuck E. Cheese fans rock of fire explosion fans. Listen up we should have the 2.0 remodel with that rainbow dance floor thing and we should keep the animatronics in the back so what I’m trying to say is keep the animatronics and do the 2.0 remodels so they can have fun with the animatronics and on a dance floor. so please give me so many likes on this video and hopefully this works.

For my 18th birthday I finally went to a Chuck E Cheese.
Here in Canada we have a few locations- but the one in particular I went to was in Vaughan, it still has their Studio C stage. Chuck doesnt perform anymore since they stopped programming him but its still nice to have an animatronic
I genuinely don't know if or when they're getting remodeled, but I hope that Canada is excluded from the remodel and thats why its been a few years with no changes to the layout of the building or decor inside
Same with the fact that while i havent been to this location, theres a chuck e cheese in Toronto that has a 1 stage design I believe (if not than 2 stage but i believe its a 1 stage) and from what I have seen the animatronics are still there
Best wishes and hopes that Pineville gets saved #savepineville #savepineville3stage

It’s not possible to make any more 3-Stage setups because the animatronics aren’t actually made by CEC. Unless they have shows sitting around in the warehouse it’s just wishful thinking at this point.

I live in a area where a 3 stage was and I think literally in this video has footage where it got dismembered and it was the Des Moines, IA one that was a very good condition set and was but it got dismembered 6 moths ago and it's sad the 5th showbiz is now gone but some people got some relics so that's good. I'm sad that it is gone now, but it's going to be loved by the people who remembered it.

They should save pineville 3 stage! They should also save Visalia’s 3 stage they only thing’s they need to change is replace the 3 stage animatronics and replace them with Huntington’s 1/2 stage animatronics and put the 2 stage buildings and keep the 3 stage star on Chuck E’s stage similar like what they did with Springfield ma, keep the 3 stage buildings and munch’s make make believe band sign on Helen, munch and jasper’s stage and the wall on Pasqually stage and also get new curtains for the stage.

I constantly say it and I’m gonna say it again. The West Des Moines 3-Stage should’ve been left alone. Those were the 3rd RAE bots ever built, and the building was the 5th Showbiz Pizza!
Not to mention that they legit had the last beta RAE sign, but now thanks to the brutal destruction the show went through, those are now extinct. We had 43 years to save one and we failed miserably…
