Both work very well, blue and black are both neutral. While black is more versatile being that it goes with every colour, you can't go wrong with either option. I'd say black or a very light wash blue are your best optuons for versatility.

You can never go wrong with a denim jacket. I have a few washes all except a light wash, but I just found the perfect one on Nordstrom Rack website. 👍👍

Great video as per Tim, I always enjoy a denim jacket over a hoodie. Lighter grey hoodie with a lighter wash and a darker grey or washed navy hoodie with black/ash grey denim, layering will definitely serve you well now you're in the UK! Hope you're enjoying it here.

I'm a skinny guy. I tried several denim jackets and I'm fairly confident that they do not suit a skinny build. In my opinion they tend to look oversized or optically make you look even thinner. I'm curious whether anyone else agrees.
It can definitely be tougher to find a jacket that fits you well when you have a skinny build. I used to be very skinny (more than now) and it was a challenge! But there are brands that make slimmer cut denim jackets. The one I'm wearing in the video is fairly slim. I would recommend either continuing the search for a jacket that fits your build, or embrace the oversized look.

7. As a battle jacket, cut off the sleeves and put on as many metal band patches as possible, looks good over a black band t shirt and camo cargo shorts for that really obnoxious metal head look. And i love it, i go out in mine as much as possible, its the piece of clothing i wear the most
