does the detective rement set fit in the smallest amiami box? idk if i should order some nendos to fill up the box or if the box will already be fully filled up with the set alone

Yes it will fit in a small amiami box, and might be able to fit a smaller nendoroid box on top of it :) you can suggest to them that you want your package to be small if possible. :)
