What a great idea! I agree the scale is perfect for the Sylvanians. The other day I took the newer grocery store out for my granddaughter to play with and remembered how small the credit card was we use for that set. I would rather things be slightly bigger than smaller. Enjoy your detective room! I also love the repaint on miss marble. You are very talented!
Thank you so much for watching and your kind comment! I agree some of the Sylvanian items are so very tiny they're almost impossible to work with, so having things a little bigger is a plus for me too!
It's all so detailed❤, oh my god and it works really well with the Sylvanian, the scale is great. I've already been looking at some sets on Amazon Japan but the price for my country is expensive with shipping and fees,+/- 70 euros. In Miss Marble's case, I think these accessories and furniture are perfect for her🥰, yes you're right, maybe it's better to exchange the bedroom with the office! Thank you, I enjoyed watching this re ment video😊
Thank you for watching! I've been looking around at places that sell Re-ment and kobee japan have them also, which might be a cheaper option for new sets! I can't believe I didn't realise before how well they'd work 🫣😂
i love everything about this! 🥰 Your custom character is so sweet, and as an avid watcher of mystery shows i would LOVE to see some little scenes set up of Ms. Marble solving some mysteries around town! I agree to move to the bedroom to the top floor. Maybe even put the office on the first floor if she's having clients come to her for help? And the upper rooms would be her apartment. 😊 I have loved Re-ment for a long time but as I used to collect Barbies the scale was not right and I had to tell myself no. But now that I'm collecting Sylvanians...I am right there with you! Oh the possibilities that have opened up! ❤
Thank you so much for watching and your kind comment, it really made me smile! I think you're right, her office should be on the ground floor so she can welcome clients more easily, and then move everything else up! I'd really like to make some little stop motions with Miss Marble eventually, that's the dream! 💖
Well done with the set up! Miss Marble looks ready to solve the case of the missing scones! The Re-ment pieces look well made even if the finish on some of them wasn't spot on.
Thank you so much 💖 Yes! Once I've sorted out the final layout, I'll film an update with the final setup! I'm hoping to do some little short stop motions with Miss Marble eventually 😁
Thanks for this video because I had to scour the internet when I first bought Re-ment, trying to find pictures scaling them with Sylvanians. The accessories size very well - the globe is my favorite. I think the furniture will always be a little off in size in these sets but some pieces can still be worked with. The accessories make the sets worth it otherwise.
Thank you for watching! I had the same trouble, I'm hoping this video will pop up and help other people with the same question! I think you're right, the number of items you get in a full set more than makes up for a few off scale pieces, I think they're really good value for money!
This is SOO helpful! I am thinking of getting the Re-ment Rose Country Palace set (with the red chaise, marble-looking fireplace, etc), but couldn't find much to see if the scale would work. Now I'm thinking about the detective set too, it's adorable and so intricately detailed. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you for watching! That set is so lovely, I've been eyeing it too! I've had to put a limit on myself now as there's so many lovely re-ment sets and only so much Sylvanian budget per month 😂
Thank you! For this I used standard felt tip pens, however they bleed a lot and need a lot of blotting to aid with drying so wouldn't recommend unless that's going to be helpful for your design like it was for this particular one with the fur colours running into each other!
They don't follow the dollhouse scale unfortunately, but mostly items between 1/12th and 1/16th will work, it's a bit trial and error though and sometimes scale looks off, furniture is the most tricky

Thank you for watching! That sounds just the sort of mystery she'd be perfectly placed to solve! 🤭
Such a cool set! :D
It really is, there's so many accessories!
Oh that looks adorable!!
I love how perfectly the evidence board fits in that nook!
Thank you! Yes, I was quite pleased with that, it's like it was made for it! 🤭
Love this! When you put the magnifying glass over her eye and saw that it worked, I squealed! It's so cute! Love the attention to detail
Thank you for watching! It's so cool that it actually works! I love functionale miniatures, they're the most fun I find! 😁
Peachy, Love the set! It is very beautiful and detailed. Enjoy!
Thank you very much for watching! 😁
Love it! Will you film a full house tour when it’s done? I’d love to see that 🥰

I've bought a few japenese rement and I've never been disappointed ! This set is really cool. I love all the small accessories ❤ Thanks for sharing 👍
That's good to know! I'm definitely looking at others to add to my Sylvanian scenes now, things that aren't available from SF!
I really like these sets, work well with critters! Miss Marble will be able to investigate all mysteries in true Agatha Christie style.❤
Thank you for watching! They do! I was pleasantly surprised by how well they scaled, even the furniture doesn't look too off 😁
I mix rement and sylvanian families for my similarly proportioned cocoriang and kumukuku animal bjds. 🥰
That's so awesome! Re-ment is so versatile, I can't believe I've only just discovered them! 🫣😂
Amei! ❤❤
You could take a little dremmel or the like to the hat and take out a little from the sides so that it sits between her ears
Oh that's such a good idea, thank you! I'm not super crafty but I think it's definitely worth a try if I can get it to fit!
I love Agatha Christie and Hercule Poirot. ❤ I e been curious about Re-Ment. I heard the scale can change from theme to theme. Ty awesome.
Thank you for watching! Me too, the two sets I've gotten so far have been great but it's difficult to find size info online for all the sets 😔
great video? could i ask what you used to customize? i have heard some use acrylic paint, pastels, or fabric markers?? thanks! x
Thank you! For this I used standard felt tip pens, however they bleed a lot and need a lot of blotting to aid with drying so wouldn't recommend unless that's going to be helpful for your design like it was for this particular one with the fur colours running into each other!
if i bought these for dolls, would the best scale of dolls to fit the furniture be 4" tall? 6" tall?
Thank you for watching! The figure used in this video is 3.25 inches so probably around that size would be best for dolls
what sylvanian house type is it?
This house is called Babblebrook Grange
Does anyone know the approximate scale for sylvanian families?
They don't follow the dollhouse scale unfortunately, but mostly items between 1/12th and 1/16th will work, it's a bit trial and error though and sometimes scale looks off, furniture is the most tricky
