- Welcome to my channel, if you're new here my name is Peachy and this channel is all about my Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters collection.
Today I'm unboxing the Re-ment Detective Room set, taking a close look at the details and checking it's scale against a Sylvanian Families building and figure. At the end of the video I also set up a scene using the unboxed re-ment set in Babblebrook Grange.

i love everything about this! 🥰 Your custom character is so sweet, and as an avid watcher of mystery shows i would LOVE to see some little scenes set up of Ms. Marble solving some mysteries around town! I agree to move to the bedroom to the top floor. Maybe even put the office on the first floor if she's having clients come to her for help? And the upper rooms would be her apartment. 😊
I have loved Re-ment for a long time but as I used to collect Barbies the scale was not right and I had to tell myself no. But now that I'm collecting Sylvanians...I am right there with you! Oh the possibilities that have opened up! ❤

Well done with the set up! Miss Marble looks ready to solve the case of the missing scones! The Re-ment pieces look well made even if the finish on some of them wasn't spot on.

What a great idea! I agree the scale is perfect for the Sylvanians. The other day I took the newer grocery store out for my granddaughter to play with and remembered how small the credit card was we use for that set. I would rather things be slightly bigger than smaller. Enjoy your detective room! I also love the repaint on miss marble. You are very talented!

It's all so detailed❤, oh my god and it works really well with the Sylvanian, the scale is great.
I've already been looking at some sets on Amazon Japan but the price for my country is expensive with shipping and fees,+/- 70 euros.
In Miss Marble's case, I think these accessories and furniture are perfect for her🥰, yes you're right, maybe it's better to exchange the bedroom with the office!

Thanks for this video because I had to scour the internet when I first bought Re-ment, trying to find pictures scaling them with Sylvanians. The accessories size very well - the globe is my favorite. I think the furniture will always be a little off in size in these sets but some pieces can still be worked with. The accessories make the sets worth it otherwise.
Thank you for watching! I had the same trouble, I'm hoping this video will pop up and help other people with the same question! I think you're right, the number of items you get in a full set more than makes up for a few off scale pieces, I think they're really good value for money!
This is SOO helpful! I am thinking of getting the Re-ment Rose Country Palace set (with the red chaise, marble-looking fireplace, etc), but couldn't find much to see if the scale would work. Now I'm thinking about the detective set too, it's adorable and so intricately detailed. Thank you for sharing!!

You could take a little dremmel or the like to the hat and take out a little from the sides so that it sits between her ears

great video? could i ask what you used to customize? i have heard some use acrylic paint, pastels, or fabric markers?? thanks! x
Thank you! For this I used standard felt tip pens, however they bleed a lot and need a lot of blotting to aid with drying so wouldn't recommend unless that's going to be helpful for your design like it was for this particular one with the fur colours running into each other!
if i bought these for dolls, would the best scale of dolls to fit the furniture be 4" tall? 6" tall?
