    I grew up in Lushoto and despite living in Arusha for sometime, Lushoto still holds a special place in my heart. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. I am glad you enjoyed your stay! Great video,man.

    The way the clouds spill over the mountain is pretty surreal

    I visited Lushoto a few months ago. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and I enjoyed the cool temperatures also. Thanks for sharing such an incredible video! Safari njema!

    "There's a race of men that don't fit in, a race that can't sit still; so they break the hearts of kith and kin, and they roam the world at will. They range the field and rove the flood, and they climb the mountain's crest; theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, and they don't know how to rest." Jackson, you are a gypsy, I'm a gypsy. Epic video! Cheers, Domenico.

    Nice video. You should have gone to Soni, then a short way to Maweni farm once owned by von Lettow-vorbeck, Commander Shutztruppe WW1. High above is the "Rock", about 1000ft straight up. Behind, a 'lost valley', primeval jungle - big buttress trees; lianas; columns of nasty siafu ants. Stunning! Probably logged now. "Kwamungu" ("To God") mountain nearby with the graves of the Kings of the Wa-samba, shrouded in cloud like heaven. Kwa heri, sasa!

    Can I just say, it was true joy to follow along on this adventure with you, Jackson. I so thoroughly enjoyed immersing in your Instagram stories. It almost felt like I was right there with you. I actually got quite emotional. I thought, now this is living. This is what life is about. That video of the kids on top of the mountain being comedic posers with the rainbow in the background and the subset in the distance... Magical, truly magical. Your anecdotes and uncontainable spirit are a joy to witness. Exploring the beauty of Tanzania like that must have been a one of a kind experience, and I highly commend you on your physical endurance, as well as your awesome skill with a drone and a camera (that shot at 0:25 is especially breathtaking). Keep it coming Jackson and don't ever lose your adventurous spirit!
    Sincerely, a happy follower and fellow Adelaide-ian 😉

    Hey Jackson, did you feel save hiking alone in the Usambara Mountains? Which other places did you travel to in Tanzania? I would love to go, but I am afraid of dangerous animals and dangerous people..

    This is just incredible, great video! I was wondering, are you traveling only with this backpack? if not, where do you keep your luggage while you were taking this trek?

    • @JacksonGroves
      @JacksonGroves  3 года назад +1

      Yep just this backpack for 7 days including all camera equipment, chargers, clothes etc.. the accommodation had beds, blankets, showers so no need for camping gear or food although i had 2 emergency meals with me for the trek.

      @@JacksonGroves damn I wish I knew how to travel light 😅 but how long are you Staying in TZ in total?

    • @kellyscellardoor
      @kellyscellardoor 3 года назад

      @@shutter.explorers another classic trick is to spend 1 night in the main town (in this case Lushoto) and pay a nominal fee to your hostel to hold any unneccessary gear until you complete your trek! In most cases you end up circling back or passing by where you began. 😊 I once paid to leave some things for a whole month in a hostel in Tana! They were safe and sound when I returned.
