Hey rio auto transport a nother awesome videos on your channel your new definitely my favoriteRUclipsr and the awesome RUclipsr keep making awesome videos
As a viewer not disappointed you walked away even tho it was a great deal . you did the right thing I’m glad your wife was there to have a say in it as well because it was definitely a bad investment a lot of heavy damage on it and just the Mickey Mouse home made welds on it were red flags 🚩something better is out there for you it’s just a waiting game stay blessed
Thank you appreciate your comment. I’ve done mistakes in the past (bought my trailer with bad brakes) and I don’t want to repeat that mistake. I hope others can learn from this video, it’s difficult to walk away but in the long run not worth it. Blessing
Smart decision buddy. Watching video and seeing some of the welds and frame up close didn’t look like it would’ve been a smart buy🤙🏼.. Keep up the postings man.
Good job leaving that behind. I bought a Car hauler for $6'600 in a auction by the time it was done it cost me $33,000 to have it restored. I'm still disappointed in the restoration for $18,600 it should have had a smooth paint job.. Also the company that did the new tires and brakes and new hydraulics called Gold Medal trailers charged me close to $10,000. I requested before they worked on it to look it over and if it appeared to have any issues with welds the decking, I would send it back to auction. Anyways it has all new decking after getting it to painter he told me the decking needed to be replaced. $4,500 for that. Now I asked Gold Medal Trailers in WI if they inspect it and put a sticker on it, they said they would well that was never. So, once I get into business, I will have it inspected at DOT scale. I did go through scales on way back to Idaho with it empty but never thought about it.
You learn from your mistakes, that is a lot of money. Sounds like you now have an almost new trailer. I’m still looking for an Infinity but not in a hurry, the trailer I was looking at was a money pit.
@riosautotransportllc Thanks for responding. Am I right to assume that you are looking to transition to car hauling full time? All of trucking has slowed but has car hauling really slowed? It doesn't seem so.
I was about to buy a GN550 at auction. when I noticed the hydraulic box was covered in BLACK SOOT showing that it could've been in a fire! It sold for 19.1k but not to me :) need quality
Pumss are 750 fr the infinity… 5500 Ram will pull a 6 no problem the problem with a good deal thats junk-is down time. Infinity-is a great trailer but start with a nice one so your safe his wheels would have gotten you pulled over take your time take the drive get a perfect one.. they do catch fire mine did 1 week after purchase I-was down 3 months
That trailer is all beat up
Yes it was!
❤❤congratulations guys yall have wanted to upgrade to that trailer a Lil while now
I didn't get it but will continue looking.
Im glad you did bought it good call
I didn’t buy that trailer but a few months later I bought one in much better condition.
Hey rio auto transport a nother awesome videos on your channel your new definitely my favoriteRUclipsr and the awesome RUclipsr keep making awesome videos
Glad you like them! Thank you!!
@@riosautotransportllc u are so welcome
Also thank you for the video a lot informative points to look after when buying a used trailer and definitely the cons outweighted the pros thank you
You’re welcome. It was difficult to walk away but definitely the best decision.
You mentioned considering a bigger truck to a subscriber. What are y'all considering? Ram maxes out at your 5500.
Maybe a M12 or a smaller Kenworth.
There is a such as a semi which would be bigger😊

I think you made the right decision to walk away. Good luck 👍
Thank you!
@@riosautotransportllc We love your channel guys. Btw my wife is also a Rios, now Hampton! 😀
Rios isn’t very common. Where is her family from? My wife’s mother (my mother-in-law) maiden name is Rios too. No relation 😂
@@riosautotransportllc My wife’s family is from El Paso, TX. You’re right it’s not a very common name.
Congratulations 🎉
It ends differently, I didn't buy it but I will continue looking.

Thank you. Yes too many issues, I would have regretted it.
Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉
He didn't buy it
@@differencemaker242 I saw that at the end of the video it's still appropriate because he taught us all what to look for before we buy
Want to get into Hot Shot and all this I have my class A, is getting into hauling cars hard?
No, the hardest part is finding the loads. I recommend visiting car lots, dealerships and auctions giving them all your business card.

Looks to me like you would need a bigger truck to pull that trailer loaded.
Yes I might, I'm considering a larger truck too.
Did the drive back convince you to get AIR RIDE on the rear atleast?? Haha thats a butt thumpin ride
It almost did. The ride is rough without my trailer, it’s much smoother with trailer.
@@riosautotransportllc Casual reminder to never rough idle your truck! Always bump those rpm's up to 1k+ to keep your engine happy
Cruise control -> Set
It'll bring the rpm to 1.1k
Thank you!
Good decision. Dont buy problems. Wouldn't you need a tractor to pull a trailer that big?
Thank you. My truck should be able to pull it but I don't want to stress my truck either. If I have too I'll buy a larger truck.
@riosautotransportllc Thanks for responding. Am I right to assume that you are looking to transition to car hauling full time? All of trucking has slowed but has car hauling really slowed? It doesn't seem so.
@@riosautotransportllc MY 5500 PULLS FINE IT'S THE BRAKES ... IVE RAN A FREIGHTLINER M2 AS WELL .. BUT RAMS ARE AMAZING AS LONG AS YOU DON'T IDLE
I’ll continue working two days in Trucking, 3 days car hauling. When busy I do pickup auction cars on Sunday and deliver Monday though.
Is this car trailer still available
Yes you can find it on Marketplace.
Smart decision on not getting it. That trailer did look nice though attached to your truck. You'll find the right one close by.
I was tempted but you’re right I’ll find another.
@riosautotransportllc maybe even a sun country 5 car. You can haul big vans, busses or equipment. Not just limiting to cars. Something to think about.
I’m Infinity’s number one fan. 😂 Sun Country trailers are nice though.
@riosautotransportllc just saying lol. More opportunities. Wish I had a sun country. I'd have a lil more loads instead of just cars.
@@luisresendiz7076👍 согласен
А где это трелер саун кантри 5 посмотреть?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍😜. Congratulations
I didn't buy it after all, too many issues.
11:35 You did the right thing. I'll be disappointed if you buy that piece of scratch metal. Honestly
It was difficult not to when he lowered the price, I did buy an Infinity GNW 500 a few months ago in great condition.
Y’all look in Florida
That is far. We flew there once (for Disney World) too long of a drive.
Wonder why this is in my feed
The trailer was rolled
That would make sense with its damage.
Upon close examination I'm not sure either
Yes it has lots of issues.
Dont waste your money get the 6 car
I do like the six but I think the five will be easier for me to load.
they do catch fire mine caught fire broke my shoulder trying to put fire out....
Where on trailer does it catch on fire? Hope your shoulder is back to normal.

I agree ☝️

Thank you, I’m sure I’ll have questions.
Considering also not to waste people time!
Definitely 👍

I like the six, you can make more money. For me it's easier to load on the five.
Hey I DM you on instagram for a trailer
Thank you!
