It's amazing to hear one of your biggest mentors sharing his heart out. Richie will always be a figure head of humility and perseverance in my life. He found me when I was young and unpolished. To think of that, it's been almost more than a decade since he started playing my remixes on club mirchi, gave me my first break on the radio. And to see this side of him even after knowing him personally over the years, was an absolute pleasure.
Thank you Somak and the team of Mirchi for sharing this with us. It's a beautiful gift. ♥️

That was a great talk indeed! It’s nice to listen to people like him doing extraordinary work behind the curtain. I think one such person is Anindit Roy who has done remarkable sound design of Ballabhpurer Rupkatha. If you can please bring him in one of your episodes.

DJ Richard is actually a movie buff. Am saying this without hesitation cause when asked about tge onw movie, he mentioned Matrix! those who answers with Matrix, is a no brainer, can be called a movie buff. Matrix was faaar ahead of it's realising time. It changed the whole way of movie making specially of action, thriller and sci-fi genre. this movie is not only speaks about simulated reality but also is deeply philosophical at it's very core.I have read the script of the Matrix movies. The trilogy has two thousand years of philosophical references in it's screenplay,

Honestly, Richard brings the stories alive. I used to drive to my office and throughout the entire drive, I used to listen to Sunday Suspense which basically helped me to disconnect from all the driving hassles and the world and made my mood for the day. Precisely I can say that, The Best creation so far is Ekshringo Obhijaan. I wonder why can't the current movie directors bring in something like that with that much of creativity!
